Bucket List 2022

Ballet
I was able to convince my sister to take a ballet class with me after a lot of back and forth, but then the virus got in the way. I had already tried a beginner class a few times before, but that dance school was quite far away, and where I want to go with my sister is only a short drive away from us. I really want to try the class there, whether with my sister or by myself.
Sew a skirt
Some time ago I tried my hand at sewing and it was a lot of fun, although the skirt I made then is a bit too short for me personally. That's why I want to use our old sewing machine again and sew a skirt that maybe goes a little longer, like over the knee. I am thinking about taking a course for beginners, because I can't really sew in a way that looks good and clean.
Italian restaurant
There is this one restaurant where we used to go to celebrate birthdays of my family. Because of the virus, it's been ages since we were last there and as soon as it's safe again, I'd like to go there to eat with my mom and sister. The restaurant is family-run and they always had very tasty stuffed dumplings with nut cream sauce. My stomach growls just by thinking about the noodles.
Get vaccinated
Soon 2022 I'll get my fourth vaccination and I'm terrified of it. I've been afraid of needles my whole childhood and somehow managed to live without needles and shots for the last decade.
Crochet top
Last summer I already tried it and this year I will also try to crochet a top. So far, I've never had the knack of adjusting the pattern to fit my body and cover enough. Most of the instructions on youtube are just too freeing for me and I would like to be able to wear a bra under the top without it being seen by everyone.
Running
In my village there is a small competition every year, where people run 3km or 10km. I have only been jogging a few times, but I think it would motivate me if I set myself the 3km run as a goal (I will never make 10km in my life), even if I won't win anything there and will probably be one of the last ones, it could be fun to participate in something like that.
Baking cakes and pressing flowers
The last two years I have been baking a lot, but mostly just the same two or three cakes. I would like to add more recipes to my cookbook and learn to bake another delicious vegan cake.
I would also like to press flowers and frame them. It'll be fun to spend some time outside in the spring time to pick the flowers.
Dentist
Because of the virus I have reduced my contacts and have not been to the dentist for almost two years. In the summer I made an appointment, but I didn't go because it was a very stressful time back then and I simply forgot it. Losing my teeth has always scared me, so I really need to make an appointment and have my teeth checked in the next few months.
Crochet red cardigan
I started my new cardigan in November 2021, however I am having a hard time changing the pattern from my old jacket to the new crochet pattern. I hope to have the jacket finished by fall so I can wear it then. This time I should definitely write down what I am doing so that I can crochet cardigans more easily afterwards.

Did I complete yesterday's task?
... Yes, I did all the tasks and to do's I planned to do in order to help my mothers recovery. However I wasn't learning my flash cards, because I got so much to do before work.
What task will I do today?
... My online construction lecture is in the morning and I want to bake afterwards some vegan plum cake. To do that I definitely need to clean the dishes first. And my mother needs still my help.
What task am I planning for tomorrow?
... On tuesday we planned to go to the market. Usually we drive with our car, but for tomorrow we want to take the bus for the first time.

Did I complete yesterday's task?
... I finally painted the walls and even put on the new curtains in my Ma's room! The last step is to clean the floor and then I can we can put back all furniture. I'm so proud of myself, because the walls look pretty decent.
What task will I do today?
... My mother has an injury in her leg, she can't walk at all, so I'll do all things to help her and clean our cats toilets, cook for her, and do some other small tasks, before I go to work.
What task am I planning for tomorrow?
... In the morning I have a online lecture. I normally don't listen closely, because it's kind of boring, but I really would like to make notes at least the first hour. My mother still can't move much, so I'll help her tomorrow too.

... Yes, I showered.
What task will I do today?
... I planned to paint the remaining walls, but I think I wouldn't get this done before work. However I really need to tidy up again, especially now because our cat has a few health problems right now and I need to put everything away that should stay intact. In top of that I need to write down every work shift I had done since new year.
What task am I planning for tomorrow?
... On sunday I work in the afternoon too, so maybe I'll clean before my shift. My goal is definitely to do some chemistry exercises for that day.

What was something good that happend this week?
... It's kind of dumb and just a small thing: This week I bought a eyebrow razor for a few bucks at my local drugstore and I'm so surprised it did work so well on the first try. I thought I would cut myself accidentally or it wouldn't shave good enough. But I'm so positively surprised and I really hope my overpluked eyebrows will somehow take less demanding now.

Did I complete yesterday's task?
... I did visited the chemistry lecture and did some of the exercises. But I didn't log into the english lecture, because my cat got back from the vet and needed a bit extra support.
What task will I do today?
... I slept really bad. We needed to do some cleaning in the middle of the night and the remaining hours I slept on the couch, as an result I'm in a really sleepy mood. I don't want to do anything other besides showering before work.
What task am I planning for tomorrow?
... On saturday I need to work in the afternoon. Maybe I'll be finally painting the two walls, that I left out at the beginning of the week?

this is your reminder to start slow and gradually lean into consistency rather than to change your entire routine one fine day. it's okay to start wherever and whenever you feel ready. please don't compare yourself to the highlight reel of people on social media. i promise it's never too late to work on your goals. you don't have to make a drastic change just because it's a new year. time is a social construct and i want nothing more than for you to truly enjoy life at present without worrying too much about the future. you are completely able to achieve goals you have set for yourself, but take it step by step. please avoid burnout and please take rest. wishing you all the best!!

Did I complete yesterday's task?
... I wanted to start the day really productive, after my breakfast the frist thing I did was preparing all the painting equipment. However after like a few strokes, I noticed that the wall paint was super watery and it was impossible to paint decent with it. As a result I didn't got the two walls done and I'll paint them properly next week. On the positive side I cleaned my bunny's space, messaged a person in my study group and did some crocheting.
What task will I do today?
... I have two online lectures from 10 am to 5 pm. If I'm really motivated I'll do some chemistry exercises, but I think my energy will be not enough for it.
What task am I planning for tomorrow?
... In the afternoon I'll go to work and before that I want to clean my room a bit, like folding clothes and putting away some clutter.

Did I complete yesterday's task?
... Yeah, I got everything done and it was pretty exhausting, so I spend the rest of the day in front the tv and did some rows on my blue crochet top.
What task will I do today?
... I need to clean my bunny's space. Today the weather is really foggy, so there isn't any sunlight and it'll be hard to see the difference between the fresh white paint and the old white wall. Nevertheless I'll try my best and paint the other two walls today.
What task am I planning for tomorrow?
... On Thursday I plan to visit my two online lectures, chemistry and english. I hope I'll listen better and take more notes than last time.

... Yes, I got two of four walls done. My ma isn't sure if she would like a second coat of paint, we'll see how it looks like the next few days.
What task will I do today?
... A have a really long to do list for today. I need to send a letter away, my cat has a vet appointment and we need to go to the market to buy fruits and vegetables. It's gonna be a long day.
What task am I planning for tomorrow?
... I don't know yet, it'll depend on my mood. I could paint the other two walls white or I could take a day "off", just watching tv and crocheting.

... Not really, to be honest. I did some house chores, however I didn't tidy up my room, so it's still messy in here.
What task will I do today?
... Today I'll finally paint the walls in my Ma's room. It will probably take me the full morning and if I need to paint a second layer on top, I'll be working till the afternoon. I hope it turns out pretty!
What task am I planning for tomorrow?
... My cat muffin need to go to the vet, we need to buy vegetables and fruits at the market and I'll need to work on the other walls that I need to paint a second time. So it'll be a exhausting and packed day.

... Yes! I completed two chemistry exercises, before I needed to leave for work. Also I cleaned my bunny's space.
What task will I do today?
... I really, really need to tidy up my room. Especially the laundry on my desk chair. I plan to fill out the documents from my insurance company too, if I have any energy left after work.
What task am I planning for tomorrow?
... On monday I'll start to paint my Ma's room. I'm doing it alone, so I will be pretty exhausted the following days. I hope the colours turn out great and my mediocre painting skills aren't that bad.

... Yes, I did some chemistry exercises for like half an hour. Maybe it wasn't really that much time, but the important thing is that I did something in the first place.
What task will I do today?
... I'll clean my bunny's space and plan to put away some laundry. It's just really messy in my room and I would like ot to be a bit more organized and cleaner.
What task am I planning for tomorrow?
... Because I need to work sunday afternoon and I don't want to be exhausted, my plan is to set a timer and do 30min long chemistry exercises or review some flash cards.

... This week I discovered a really interesting podcast, called "Ist das noch gesund?" (eng. "Is this still healty?"). It's mainly about mental and body health. The podcast is super interesting and I learned a lot during the first episodes, that I listed to, about the human skin and that it doesn't really need any skin care.

Did I complete yesterday's task?
... Nooo, not really. I visited my chemistry lecture and made some notes too, but then I lost all my motivation and after one hour into my online english lecture I logged out. Still, I was finally there and made a step in the right direction.
What task will I do today?
... I planned to review some flash cards for maybe half an hour, that should be realistic.
What task am I planning for tomorrow?
... Over the weekend I normally don't have much time, because I'm half the day at work and not at home. If I have a spare moment I want to clean my room further and puck away all the laundry.
