Word of advice when using the boards for trading: You won't get many results by just making a "LF [items]" post and waiting around for people to respond. Sure, maybe one or two people will, but not typically. You're more likely to get people responding to you when you make "FT" posts listing your dupes and clarifying that you're only looking for WL items. But even these posts will yield little results unless the items you're offering up are retired set items or ones with high wish counts + SR.

What I recommend you do instead is scroll through the boards and click on every user, check their dupes list to see if they have the items you want, then check their WL and see if you have any items of equal or semi-equal value, then ask to trade them directly (either on their board or original trade post). It seems most users prefer to just have other users come to them, rather than seeking out users themselves.

This same method can be applied when roaming as well. I always check the users I come across as this is actually how I've traded for a majority of my WL items.

Evidence: I made a "LF tree" post two days ago and didn't get a single offer, but did get like three likes from users who didn't even have the tree I was seeking. I deleted this post and made a new one yesterday. Still nothing. A few hours after I made this second post, I decided to scroll through this same board and found a user who made a “🔁🔁🔁 post” and lo and behold, this user had the tree I was looking for. And even better, I had items on their WL that were of equal value. I made an offer on their original post and managed to get the tree I was looking for.

You have to put in the time and effort if you really want to get anywhere with trading, instead of passively relying on the boards alone.

Just learned about how expensive and hard-to-trade rambles really are. Like, I knew they were expensive (arguably the most expensive Livly item), but didn't fully realize they were that expensive.

The odds of even getting a single one is considered a rare feat, like seeing a unicorn in real life. And most users aren't really willing to trade them unless you offer up another ramble or 4-5 SP items on their WL.

Oh well, guess me not really prioritizing rambles as a staple of my island goals turned out to work in my favor lol

Mirror Lake

Mirror Lake is a secluded area lined with blossom trees and a single waterfall right in the middle. This waterfall is the sole source of the lake's water and seems to have soothing properties to it. There are only three residents of the lake area, currently, but plenty of livlys have come and gone, seeking its water. It's a naturally peaceful and quiet place.

Hush ♂

Hush is a very fussy, little Hilo Pumilio and the self-appointed "Guardian of the Lake." In reality, he's much too small and weak to protect anything, having to rely on the unknown help of his much bigger friend. But despite all that, he'll still dutifully scare off any livly or hom that dares to step too close, his fur standing on end and teeth bared. He spends most of his time scouting out the lake and surrounding areas and looking after his little sister and friend. He never seems to settle and is stubborn to a fault.

The only one who's able to get him to loosen up is his sister. She's much more playful and lax compared to him and will prompt him to playfight with her. Though he may roughhouse with her, he's never too rough and only gives gentle nips and shoves. He secretly loves to play with her floppy ears and tail; it's sort of a stress relief for him.

Whelm ♂

A simple creature by nature, Whelm is a Juraphant (P-1) that stumbled his way to the lake in search of water and hasn't left since. He's rather laid back and unbothered by the world around him, enjoys the lake for its peace and relative quiet. A secluded place with only two other little livlys to interact with. An absolute dream. Likes being able to just go for a swim and eat the bugs Whisper brings to him. Isn't even bothered when the pumilio siblings climb on top of him like a jungle gym or gets all up in his face.

While not violent, Whelm won't hesitate to step in and assist Hush in scaring off trespassers that disrupt his home. He usually lets his size and bulk do the talking, leering over any threat until they back off and run off. But if that doesn't work, then he'll forcefully remove the threat with those tusks of his.

Whisper ♀

Whisper is a Ryo Pumilio and the younger sister to Hush. Compared to her brother, she is more about having fun and relaxing. She doesn't concern herself too much with protecting the lake, as outsiders are rare. And while she herself is fairly shy and skittish around strangers, she does feel safe with Whelm around. She can just run over to the big guy and climb on top of him if she's feeling unsafe.

She spends most of her time swimming, digging for bugs, climbing along the trees, and convincing her brother to play with her. She'll playfully tackle him and tug on his tail until he grows frustrated with her and roughhouse with her.

Nowhere Island

Hidden away in the land of livlys lies a forest that's ever changing and ever shifting. It's a place almost impossible for outsiders to find or enter, but once you do, you can never leave. You will become forever trapped among the purple and minty green foliage. Nowhere is a misty, dew-filled island that's covered in a soft mist that smells like fresh rain and lavender. There are different areas located all throughout, including caves with waterfalls blocking the entranceway and forests decorated in dew-dappled frost blossom trees.

Reverie ♀

An Ikkaku Ferel (P-1) girl and healer of the forest. She has mystic powers rarely found among livlys, powers that allow her to heal and soothe. Although, after a particularly traumatic incident, she lost a majority of it. Her horn, the source of her abilities, was filed down and she became weakened. Reverie now must rely on Orsha, her mate, to protect her from danger.

She can still heal those in need but is limited to smaller or less severe injuries. Whenever Orsha becomes hurt from their battles, she'll step in to heal them, even if it means exerting herself and causing herself to become even more weakened. Reverie is a naturally soothing and nurturing livly who's able to calm down even the most skittish and frantic of livlys and homs. Though, she's not always successful with the more aggressive livlys and requires Orsha to step in.

Orsha ⚥

A Hoprex (P-3) and hermaphrodite (goes by he/they). Orsha used to be a solo livly that would pick fights in their youth. Has almost never lost a fight. Mellowed out significantly after meeting Reverie and becoming her bodyguard. Even though he's aggressive and violent towards any and everything that's not his Reverie, he is soft and affectionate towards her, and only her.

Is one of the few residences of Nowhere that was originally an outsider. They somehow stumbled their way into the forest while chasing down prey and couldn't find their way out. It took time to adjust to the new environment; they even changed color to better camouflage, going from a pitch black to a more aqua mint green. But now, Orsha is considered one of the top predators in Nowhere.
