How long was Stede away from his family? Ed says it’s a leap year— does that mean Stede had been away for three years by then? How long did they sail together?

I’m coming to terms with the fact that I have special interest persons. At one point my special interest person was the girl I was dating in high school, but when I got attached to a mentor figure in college, that romantic relationship started to fall apart. I’m starting to wonder if I’m capable of feeling long term romantic attraction at all if my relationships keep getting disrupted by my new special interest people

People talking over each other overwhelms me so quickly, but I feel trapped at the dining table because it’s impolite to get up and leave when someone is talking. I have to disengage from the conversation entirely just to stay grounded. Totally zoned out and staring at the table cloth while everyone keeps talking

I recently discovered that I’m autistic. I tried explaining it to a friend and they were like “I couldn’t tell” (which made me feel super self-conscious for some reason?).
So I decided to be more explicit and said “I’m not really exactly myself around you.” But my friend sort of interpreted that as we’re just not close enough as friends for them to know the “real” me. That’s not what I mean at all and I don’t know how to explain it.
Is it rude to tell people that I’ve been faking a lot of my reactions and responses? I don’t know how to explain that the version of me that my friends know isn’t actually me

I’ve never done this before but I’m pretty desperate so here goes:
I rescued a cat about two years ago. His name is Prior Walter and he’s always had breathing problems. I finally found a vet to figure out the problem— it’s cancer. The surgery he needs costs $5000-6000.
In September I spent two weeks in a mental hospital. After that, I took a few weeks off from work. I’m really right on money from my own medical expenses, not having an income, and paying for the special diagnostics it took to diagnose my cat in the first place.
If anyone can spare a few dollars, I would really, really appreciate it. Please help me save my cat

Hello! My name is Angel! I’m a nonbinary, a-spec psychology student currently in my final semester of undergrad. For an internship I’ve been given the amazing opportunity to conduct a workshop + panel on campus to educate the community about asexual and aromantic identities, and these identities relate to experiences within relationships and sex.
It’s a complex topic, which is why I’m here!
Despite identifying as asexual myself I really think that the project would benefit from a wide variety of aromantic and asexual voices besides just my own. So, I’ve coordinated with the life-of-an-asexual mod to create some forms to collect voices and experiences from the community to help with diversity, raise awareness, and spread education.
If you identify as asexual or aromantic, it would mean so much to me if you took just a moment to fill out the form for your respective identity:
Aromantic:https://forms.gle/RjnGyBQpUtuS6kKD7
Asexual: https://forms.gle/VXPTKbrjT9Fvghty7
Thank you so much for your time!! Have a good day ~

Having separate flags is good bcos it’s good to have a symbol for your particular identity to embrace but it also important to remember the rainbow flag unites us all. All LGBT+ people can use it. I feel like it’s somehow become assumed by a lot of younger lgbt+ people that it’s only fr gay men, which it isn’t and never has been
