it's still a work in progress, and bamboo has been trying to sketch with my finger only... but it looks kinda okay.

bamboo ships leon and vanitas together! it happened almost ten years ago, when bamboo and bamboo's friend were reading a vaniku fic and thought leon and vanitas were going to end up together instead.

Here's something silly I just started thinking about, sometimes Yakou will get super invested in whatever he's reading whether it's a case,the newspaper,a book,etc and whenever Yakou sits on the couches Yuma does a few things as he sits down next to him:

He tries to help Yakou out if it's a difficult case and they basically rubber duck each other with the problems until they crack the case or they work together on the newspaper's daily crossword puzzle.

He asks Yakou about what he's reading about wether it's a book or something else and Yakou will pause for a moment to tell him all about it and depending on how far along Yakou is in what he's reading he'll start over so he and Yuma can read together.

This one kinda blends in with the second one But,Sometimes if Yuma is tired enough he'll ask Yakou to read it to him and Yakou gladly does so it always helps Yuma fall asleep especially if he's been having trouble sleeping (it also conks Vivia out too he and Yuma really love listening to Yakou reading it's soothing for them) he will also lean on/against Yakou and when Yakou realizes Yuma fell asleep on him he adjusts himself and either puts and arm around him and let's Yuma use his chest or his lap as a pillow and continue reading. Yakou also makes a bookmark for where he left off when they fell asleep. Yakou will also card his fingers through Yuma's hair to help his smol detective relax.

Yuma sometimes plays with Yakou's free hand,it's completely subconscious and he really doesn't know why it's just comforting and a little fun to him plus Yakou doesn't mind it either both he and Shinigami are amused by it and yes,Shinigami also teases Yuma about all of this.

Why I believe in Vanitas redemption: it reinforces KH’s themes of seeing the goodness in others. It’s about believing everyone can change for the better. If a literal embodiment of darkness can do it, so can you.
