Finally posting the HFW zine piece I did over a year ago. Meant to put it up a couple weeks ago and completely forgot, but it works out because today is Aloy's birthday!

While physical copies of the zine are sold out at this point, leftover merch and PDFs are still available to buy until the 6th here!

This artwork gets the award for longest I've ever spent on a single piece, clocking in at somewhere between 200-300 hours

finally allowing myself to take a break from comms and uni work for some sweet ereloy doodles ... they have been rent free in my head since like august of last year i can't believe i haven't drawn them yet!

i've fallen horribly ill with the common cold and im gonna use my sickness as an excuse to finally play focus on the heart because what else is there to do

Horizon is great because it has that classic hero's journey story structure except the mentor character guiding them is an unbearable jerk that the hero spends the whole story hating and barely holding back the urge to kill.

i tend to block people that i think are way cooler / more talented than me because i get so irrationally jealous whenever i see their posts lmaoo so if we're on good terms rn and i ever randomly block you just assume it was that

you can block people for both serious & trivial reasons. you do understand that you can simply dislike someone's online presence, don't you? you don't need to justify yourself.

likewise, if you've been blocked by someone & interpret that as an attack, i believe you should examine why you view another person's boundaries as a personal affront.

blocking isn't a negative act, it's just an easy method of curating one's online spaces. none of this matters. put your phone down & breathe.

does anyone else when they're drawing fanart get super scared and guilty that they're not portraying the character right as if the character themselves is directly looking at you art and shaking their head in disappointment saying "that is NOT what i look like"
