so, @rediimere and i were talking about the lack of ship art in the fandom right now, and i came up with the idea of a ship art exchange, where artists can sign up and do art of a ship that's not their main to provide some new content for neglected parts of the fandom!

these would all be major Aloy ships (Aloy/Erend, Aloy/Talanah, etc) from a predetermined list, distributed among artists as evenly as possible. artists would only be able to opt out of one ship, so this isn't something you should sign up for if you're uncomfortable with most ships besides your own!

another caveat is that this wouldn't happen until the new year, because a lot of us are busy with the holidays coming up soon. with that in mind, sign-ups would likely open sometime in January, and artists would have a couple of months to come up with a full illustration of their assigned ship.

Didi and I both have extensive experience running fandom projects, so I can promise it'll be very organized!

I hate when an artist gets exposed for being a bad person and people start the narrative “why would you even want to listen to their shitty music” when are we going to be freed from the idea that only good people create good art and bad people create bad art. It just makes it harder for these types of people to be exposed because now you got people thinking “how is this possible, his music is so good!”
