As much as I love "So long, London" I think "loml" should have been track number 5.

Hi I’m back and I’m pissed OFF and I need to say something about this fucking fan base:
You don’t think she’s queer because you don’t take her seriously. When you think mastermind, you think about how she wore her boyfriend’s team’s colors in her set. You undermined her intelligence. The media built her into this “all American boy-obsessed girl” and you fell for it. You had no idea she was writing about VERY deep, forbidden topics in such a poetic and devastating way at a very young age in a very unique circumstance. You never saw her for who she was and when she found the ones who did finally see her, you doxed them and spit in their face and called them crazy. You tried to bully her only support system off the internet instead of LISTENING TO US. She hid secrets in her songs for you and you never thought to decode her or listen to the people who had because she surely couldn’t be *that* clever or that liberal or that queer.
SHE WAS TRYING TO TELL YOU HER STORY. SHE WAS TRYING TO EXIST FREELY. SHE WAS SCARED AND TIRED AND HURTING AND CONFUSED AND YET YOU JUST WANTED TO KNOW WHICH MAN SHE WAS GONNA BANG NEXT.
Fuckers. Burn it down, Taylor. Just burn the whole fucking thing down.
EDIT: this post is not about who she’s dating or what her label is!!! This is about the most important THEMES in her music that have been overlooked. You’re missing the point if you think I’m mad at the fans for not supporting her with Karlie Kloss. I’m talking about honoring TAYLOR and the fact that queer / neurodivergent people get brushed off to the side if we’re not following the crowd. UGH WE HAVE LOST THE PLOT!

I saw a theory on Instagram that Taylor is hinting taht Debut is gonna be next rerecodring, becasue she has been wearing plaid clothing... and in Lover house, the only room that has plaid wallpaper is Debut room... This seems valid and I support that theory!

Listen: Taylor is not going to speak up about Palestine, for at least two reasons: A she just doesn't give a fuck B deep down she is insecure poor little rich girl, who cannot even come out of the closet, even though, as you said, she is, quote: “objectively the biggest singer in the world right now “.
it really is egregious the way Taylor is staying silent about Palestine, especially at this point. and oh before yall start with the "she's a SINGER it DOESN'T MATTER" performative bullshit sit your ass down and read first.
Taylor Swift is objectively the biggest singer in the world right now. biggest celebrity in the world right now. and that platform carries power. the Biden administration literally has a team to seek her endorsement—that's not a cutesy pop culture meme moment that's genuine recognition of influence.
we are well beyond the point where silence due to ignorance or fear is acceptable. we are watching genocide live on our phones. we are watching children be burned alive in a UN refugee camp.
and every single person in a position of power has a responsibility to advocate for life, for humanity. there is a whole organized group of artists for ceasefire. and Taylor's silence is deafening. it isn't too late to speak up, to come to terms with what we are not only witnessing, but funding.
Taylor Swift, the biggest and arguably one of the most influential celebrities in the world at this current time, using her platform how she said she would btw to bring awareness to the genocide in Palestine, to direct some of her incredible wealth towards humanity, to use her platform of influence to shift the political narrative... she CAN do all of that. and if you think she can't you either aren't paying attention, or are too afraid to confront your own biases.
it is such low hanging fruit for her to post on social media. to say anything at all. her platform carries a level of responsibility I really hope she understands but this failure to uphold it is heavy.

Good read!
The Fortnight video foreshadows the convergence of Taylor Swift and her brand
In her videos, Taylor has continually played with the idea of herself as a person versus as a brand. These portrayals have almost been adversarial in nature. Think about the relationship between the two life sized Anti-Hero Taylors. The hooded robot Taylor who got to exist in the world while her bare counterpart was trapped in glass. Etc.
The Fortnight video introduces similar characters but flips the script because there isn’t a me versus her dynamic anymore. Instead, there is a story about coming together.
A scene by scene breakdown:
Taylor Swift™️ is chained to a bed in a white gown with a spicy slit and garter. A faceless nurse enters walking upside down on the ceiling (a continued theme suggestive of PR games). The nurse presents “Forget Him” pills, arguably reminiscent of a dark time where the world thought they could “cure” homosexuality. After Taylor Swift™️ begrudgingly takes her dose, the nurse unchains her.
We then see Taylor Swift™️ approach a two way mirror and wipe the mask off her face, revealing face tattoos we know to be Post Malone’s in real life. This reveal is setting the scene that within this video Post Malone represents Taylor’s inner self, her true soul behind the veil of celebrity. I’ll call him True Taylor.
Next, the mask is back and we see Taylor Swift™️ walk out of the observation room and into the workspace. She goes from wearing a leggy white gown with garter to a fully covered black poet-esque dress. She isn’t dressed for voyeuristic eyes anymore, she’s dressed to work on her art. I love this light to dark transition because black can be seen as the absence of light. Fitting for a tortured poet who can’t live her truth in public with her sunny muse by her side.
Note that we don’t get to see black dress Taylor Swift™️ through the two way mirror. She exists behind the bright lights of fame, making art in a room hidden from our view. Maybe the pills numb her enough to twist the art for an audience who likes to her to be chained to a bed while they watch her suffer.
But wait Taylor Swift™️ and True Taylor are collaborating. They start work separately but their art eventually drifts out of their typewriters, combining into a white light that bursts into a rainbow. Remember how I said black light is the absence of light? Well white light is comprised of all hues on the visible light spectrum.
We know there are layers to Taylor’s music: the surface layers chock full with to red herrings for the grocery line Swifties and the deeper layers of Taylor’s truth. They both exist in the art, swirled together.
But here is where things start to feel different. We cut to True Taylor and Taylor Swift™️ away from all those faceless people - they are alone in the middle of a road. That in itself is ridiculously symbolic of being on the way to somewhere (maybe brighter days). But there’s more because they are dressed identically, laying inside Taylor’s head that is made up of their art. This scene is like bonking us on the head that these two people are one and the same.
Note: The silhouette here is from the Style video which also portrays Taylor’s inner self as a man.
Taylor Swift™️ runs to True Taylor and they embrace in the middle of the road as pages of their art float around them. In the chaos, Taylor Swift™️ reaches out to True Taylor.
Maybe this scene is suggesting the public version of Taylor is ready to embrace her real self.
Then we see Taylor Swift™️ strapped to a table, wild hair from dropping the hairpins we saw in the opening scene. The drugs aren’t working, it must be time to escalate to shock therapy. The men around her gather and there is literally a sign in the background that says “Master Control”.
But one of the men in the room making decisions for the brand is actually True Taylor, who has been there all this time.
Enough is enough when True Taylor can’t take the pain and pulls the plug on the procedure, freeing public persona Taylor from torture.
Next we see True Taylor, familiarly encased behind glass, on a phone call. Perhaps making plans while safe from the rain. Taylor Swift™️ is elevated on a pedestal, out in the storm, in her best dress FEARLESS! Credit to @rep-princess-witch who put the fearless connection together in another post.
I’ll say it again, that is the huge difference in this video compared to others. Here, Taylor Swift™️ is not an antagonist, she is ready to brave the storm.
So what does she do? She’s back in the workspace burning all the files. It’s not without emotion but it’s necessary. We then see a stoic Taylor Swift™️ with no regrets.
After burning the files she’s back in the observation room. It’s time to fight back against the voyeurs and she does so by smashing the glass between her and them. She regains her agency by squashing their ability to hide. Shes deserting her past life.
Note: We don’t see True Taylor back inside. This fight is specifically for Taylor’s public persona.
In the closing seen, we see True Taylor leave shelter, step outside into the storm, and reach for Taylor Swift™️. The person and the public persona are weathering the storm hand in hand.

I'd waited quite some time, but finally watched TBoys TV series and I LOOOOOOOOVED <3 I'd never been a fan of Jensen Ackles, but damn, he did such a fine job in season 3! Long story short I am about watch Supernatural TV series now, he he. Another fun fact that the only reason I started watching The Boys was Jack Quaid.
But coming back to the character Jensen Ackles played, Soldier Boy – I really hope he will come back in season 4 (though I fear that chances are small...). Soldier Boy was an abuser to his team in his older days, but in season 3 he was basically the only person who kept his word, while everybody else was screwing him over :/ Fuck this kid of Becca, why everybody in every TV show has to be such a p*ssy when it comes to hurting children? Fuck that kid (the character, not the actor, obviously!).

Coming out with T12?
What if...
(I am just hoping/predicting here)
Taylor will finally come out after ending of The Eras Tour (with her next album release, T12). That would be the final end of “eras”, of her facades, many false faces. Instead she would present just the real self, without any masks.
Because really, she is no longer trapped with Scott Bullshitta, she calls her own shots, she doesn't have to beard – she chooses to, she is not some innocent victim here.

Well this is not her first rodeo... Neither Taylor nor Tree saw that he would be Calcium 2.0....? She shouldn't have agreed to the bearding anymore, why cannt she just come out already, she doesn't need him or any other man for PF for crying out loud...
This is so utterly disgusting, I have no words

This man makes me so mad. He’s manhandled her a couple of times before and now this. It so clearly makes her uncomfortable. Like, she literally goes stiff and he’s not giving a damn.
You know when a bug lands on your shoulder and you just freeze and say “get it off get it off get it off” ? Yeah, that body language from Taylor… she’s gonna snap at him in public one of these days because she’s clearly so uncomfortable. Even during their kisses, her body language is clearly pulling away. Even my straight mom said that before me saying a thing. Like that YouTube short where he went in for a cheek kiss and she flinched and tried to move away from him.
I feel so bad for her, even though she agreed to this contract. Because I can’t imagine she would have known he would be this much of a douchebag who is getting more and more comfortable manhandling her. Something’s gotta give.

Best to worst TS rerecordings (so far)
Best to worst TS rerecordings (so far, as there are still two to go):
Red (the best) – we've got 30 tracks in total, brand new version of “Girl at home” = I like this song before and the new version is better than the old one, two very nice music videos, great songs like “I bet you think about me”, “the very first night”, “Forever winter”, “Message in a bottle} and of course the greatest gem – ten minute version of “All too well”!!!
Speak Now – cool music video to the cool song “I can see you”, the other vault tracks are also fine, especially “When Emma falls in love”, “Castle crumbling” and “Timeless”, interesting touch with a little lyrics change in “Better than revenge”.
Fearless – if I remember correctly I started to listen to Taylor Swift's music after Speak Now release and before RED release, so I was never too obsessed with Fearless or Debut, so it was nice to rediscover “Untouchable” and “Mr Perfectly Fine” is a great song. And it was fun to compare how Taylor's vocals changed over time.
1989 (f*cking worst) – with all the other rerecordings I listen only the new versions of song, but here?! I cannot stand the new versions, they sound terrible, like they are too slow, comparing to the old ones, as if they were in slow motion, they are not as energetic and passionate. I just cannot listen to them, I stick to the old versions. It was also disappointing that she didn't have any music video for the promotion, it was as if she was doing the bare minimum for promotion of this rerecording. And as per vault songs, I really hoped they will be better. With every earlier rerecording I had at least one song on each album that I liked very much, that became one of my favorites of all the songs on a certain album, but here...? Some of the lyrics were very touching, but songs overall are not too special.
I just hope that my beloved Reputation will be like RED, not like 1989.

You guys are naive, she will never speak out about it.
SwiftiesForCeasefire is a Palestinian-led campaign to make sure Taylor knows her fans want her to call for a ceasefire. The massacre in Gaza has resulted in the loss of a full 1% of its population.
Taylor's influence as a celebrity is astronomical, and her voice could make a difference.
