Still feeling hesitated about making your first zine? It's easier than you think! The Glasgow Zine Library has a clear illustration on how to make a 8-page "star-fold zine": https://twitter.com/glasgowzinel…/status/1130143575356915712
This is the most common and easiest zine for beginners to get their hands working, all you need is a sheet of paper, a pair of scissors (even optional!), and some creative juice :D Draw, write, or collage on the paper to make a zine!
Here is also an example from Carli Erin Boisjolie and Heilum Ng: Poking Face (2017)

Bocchi soft launch: Free project consultation!
Theme: 一人ぼっち – Feeling lonely?
Getting stuck at home alone? Social distancing makes you feel lonely? Despite the isolation between individuals, communities, and everyday routines, no one is facing this alone. Since we are all stuck at home, besides eating canned soup and walking around inside the house, why not come up with an idea for an artist book/printed matter project? Why not take this time you have stuck at home to reflect on the feeling of being lonely – what is loneliness and what does it mean to you?
Bocchi is calling all creative individuals to submit their ideas of artist book/printed matter projects for a free consultation. In the theme of self reflection in loneliness, and/or emotions in relation to the current COVID-19 affected matters, individuals are encouraged to brainstorm and share their stories/thoughts with us that they want to turn into a book project. Submit your ideas using the form below.
Let’s get inspired and productive; let’s get through this difficult time together – you are not alone.
