Hey hey, guess what. I started rewatching Merlin and was craving the badass magic reveal we never got, so I took matters into my own hands. Enjoy a little snippet while I continue writing something that was supposed to be short:

So, as most of the people in this fandom know, Mac’s house is an absolute nightmare when it comes to the layout. I, being the stubborn prick that I am, tried to piece together what I could based on pretty much any clear shot I could find throughout the episodes and nearly gave myself an existential crisis cus who the fuck designed this thing???

Anyways I compiled the shots and based on them I made a rough layout sketch of the house. I have no idea if there’s a basement/upper level/attic etc, but here’s the ground floor

Please note that the proportions are most likely off and that a lot of the ‘smaller details’ (i.e. deck chairs, furniture, trinkets etc) aren’t present cus I’m lazy, but you get the picture. Pink highlights are doors, and the one closest to the kitchen on the right side is the front door. I hope it helps!

I’ve had this idea for a fic floating around my brain, but all I have is one line of dialogue from Murdoc to Mac: “So many people have died for you Macgyver; don’t you think it’s time you returned the favour?” I don’t know what to do with it, so any ideas from anyone on how to build off it would be tremendously appreciated! (Or if somebody who’s more talented than I am wants to nab that “prompt” for themselves, by all means, go ahead!)

So, I felt that we needed some more art for these two (because it’s *severely* lacking), so I did this last night and it took me about…3 hours? ish? Yeah, well…ENJOY!! (more art to come)
