My favourite character after watching Avengers was Loki, and I was apathetic about Thor. My friends suggested I watch Thor, which I hadn’t seen at the time, because Loki was supposedly more dignified in it.

I gotta say though, now having seen Thor a few times, I like Thor a lot more and Loki a lot less..

The maximum gif size is 10 mb and tumblr recommend a lower size but it’s up to you.

If you’re using an HQ video and making a big gif keeping it under 10 mb wont be easy if you want to make it as good as possible.

Thank you! That's awesome. So anything below 10mb won't just be frozen on the first frame? When I used to make gifs the limit was 3mb so very excited to see what I can do with 3 times as much.

To ensure your GIFs upload successfully: Please keep your GIF file size to 10 MB or less. We recommend that your GIFs be no more than 540 pixels wide. GIFs under 3 MB won’t be compressed; however, we do convert all uploaded GIFs to the GIFV format. If you’re uploading a compressed GIF, the file should be no larger than 5 MB. If your GIF is uncompressed and under 10 MB, we’ll do our best to compress the file down for you. Again, the resulting compression is the GIFV format. In general, we do what we can to serve your GIFs uncompressed. If we’re unable to successfully serve a GIF that exceeds 5 MB, Tumblr will serve only the first frame. If this happens to your GIF, try reducing the file size, then upload it again.

I'm not sure what compressed means. Seems like the best option is to keep it under 5MB? Or can I create an upload a regular GIF and as long as it is below 10MB, it is good. OR is 3MB still the ideal?
