Thank you @soltheinkwizard for the drawing suggestion! I still struggle with drawing Lalli, I feel like his vibe is very difficult to capture... Also, I went a bit overboard and dressed them in folk clothing, hehe.

Emil is (supposedly) wearing a Jämtland folk costume. I wanted to dress him in a Jämtland outfit since he is said to be from Östersund, but the google results for the outfit were a bit confusing. I went with one of the outfits described as "jämtlandsdräkt", someone who is more familiar with Swedish traditional costumes can correct me.

For Lalli I chose a Savitaipale costume. Since he is said to be from Saimaa without specifying a town, I went with one that is located on the shores of Saimaa (and also because I thought the vest looked nice, hehe).

My First Tumblr Post, Redrawn.

This is an Illustration of a scene from a user named @katoninetailswrites story called You Made Me A Believer on AO3

I named it The Waltz, and it was my first post to Tumblr on the 25th of November 2023.

Here is the 2024 version.

I gave myself liberty to change up the scene a bit from the first one, but it still holds the same message.

Stand Still Stay Silent is still quite special to me as its one of the only things i remember reading from secondary school and actually enjoying, an area of my life where it feels like some things from my memory had been "wiped". Emil and Lalli is essentially my comfort ship, and I cant shut up about it LOL.
