I hope this message reaches you in moments of peace and reassurance. Today I am writing to you from the heart of a war-torn land where dreams are shattered and lives are changed forever. My name is Ibrahim, 27 years old from Gaza City, Palestine, the eldest of my parents, and this is my family. I have three brothers, three sisters, my brother’s wife and his two children. I am writing this appeal in the hope of saving my family from the incomprehensible horrors that have been happening in Gaza since October.

I was an engineering student, but the ongoing war has shattered my life, my studies, and most tragically, my family’s future.

On October 12, 2023, our house was bombed and completely destroyed. Three of our relatives were killed in the attack. My family of 12 - my parents, my brothers, and my brother’s children - barely escaped with our lives. Since then, we have been displaced several times, fleeing from one place to another under the constant threat of bombing. We have lost everything: our home, our possessions, and the most basic necessities of life.

We are now in Deir al-Balah, living in unbearable conditions, without proper shelter from the winter cold. We have no bedding or blankets to keep warm. Food is scarce and expensive when available. An 11-pound bag of flour costs $350. My father has severe back problems, my mother needs surgery for kidney stones, and the children are sick because of the poor living conditions.

Our fishing boats – our family’s only source of income – were destroyed in the war. Now we have nothing left to rebuild our lives.

Urgent help is needed to save our lives and our families to get out of the war to safety and to have an urgent surgery for my mother and buy medicines for my father. 😥✋⛔

We are also suffering from famine. 😢

I am Maram Al-Nabulsi, I currently live in the completely destroyed 🏚🚀city of Gaza, specifically Khan Younis. Since the war on Gaza began on 10/7/2023, my family - my father Muhammad, my mother Hiba and my siblings Nour, Maram, Mahmoud - have been living in constant fear, crying and suffering because of shrapnel, shells and bullets. We have no food🥘🌯, no electricity, no cooking gas, no schools🏢📚, no homes🏚, no cleaning supplies, no clothes🧣🧥🧤. Our house was completely destroyed. My school was bombed, and my sister Nour's university was turned into rubble, which deprived us all of education. The war forced us to live in displacement centers, which are just tents that are not suitable for living, especially in winter. Every day we live death, terror and panic a thousand times because of the continuous bombing of my city. The war has killed more than 50 of my relatives and neighbors. At the beginning of the war, we took refuge in my aunt's house, but it was also turned into rubble. Imagine: We have escaped imminent death more than 20 times, and have been displaced between shelters more than 13 times. My brothers and I have suffered from many diseases due to malnutrition, and we need medicine constantly. If we stay in Gaza, we may lose our lives. Recently, we have been seriously considering leaving Gaza to a safe place. However, the travel costs are very high. We need more than 70 thousand dollars to leave Gaza. Due to the exorbitant prices, rampant unemployment, insecurity, the ongoing blockade, and the continuous bombing, we have lost all our money. How can we live in such insecurity💔🙏, with the constant bombing and shrapnel flying above us? My campaign suffers from a severe slowness in obtaining this donations in light of the conditions of the League we live in Gaza from the siege, the high prices and the cold 🍉

Before the war we had a great life full of pleasure and blessings , we had a beautiful , warm and big house , but unfortunately our house was damaged due to the ongoing Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip.

Also I worked as an accountant in a company , but the company stopped its work due to the war , and I remained without a source of income.

I have a bachelor's degree in business administration but there’s no jobs to apply for because of the lack of jobs and the inability to go out at any time.

Also before the war I was about to marry my fiancee , her name is Ruba Khaled Khader , we had planned to have our wedding in February 2024 but because of the war we haven’t gotten married yet and all our dreams of living a happy life have been shattered

Also my fiancée's house was destroyed and burned by the Israeli occupation and all her new wedding clothes were burned and she has nothing left.

My fiancée and I don't see each other very often because she and her family evacuated to a place far from where I live and the transportation is difficult and expensive.

It has been 2 years since I engaged my fiancée and we want to get married but we don’t have a place to live in and we don’t have the means to live.

And my fiancée is studying software engineering at Al-Ahar University and the university started an online education and I have to pay to the university so she can complete her education but I don’t have money or a source of income or a work to pay for her education.

So please, I ask you not to stay away from our urgent appeal. Your support can make a big difference in our lives.
