For the longest moment, Goro couldn't speak, breath, do anything but stare, mouth slightly ajar, at the woman in front of him, looking just as bewildered as him, if not more. She's still holding his hand, the both of them too stunned to let go, and the moment he regained some sense, Goro instinctively held it tighter, as if fearing she might slip through his fingers if he didn't hold her tight enough.

"M-mama? Is this... really you?" In his mind, he was praying to whatever entity he knew that this was real, that this really was his mother. He couldn't care less how impossible it sounded, in that moment, he just hoped with all his heart he hadn't been wrong... 'Please let it be her, please...'

“I should be the one to say sorry, I was the one who bumped into you...”

Apparently tired with his endless hesitation, his friends had taken the initiative and all but pushed him from behind the corner, causing him to lose his balance and slam right into the woman he had been trying to approach.

Goro hadn’t given much thought to it when Akira had commented that one of the cashiers at the grocery store where he worked part-time looked an awful lot like the only portrait he had of his late mother... until his curiosity had had the best of him and he convinced himself to go to the store with the excuse of visiting Akira during his shift and take a peek at the cashier he was referring to... and almost had a heart attack when he saw just how much the woman resembled his late mother. One run from the store and one panic attack later, the news had spread around Akira and their shared group of friends, who had convinced him to try and meet the woman who supposedly was his mother who somehow survived a suicede attempt he himself witnessed...

How had he let himself be convnced again...?

“I’m very sorry miss...” He said softly, getting up from  the ground with a groan of pain and offering the young woman a hand to help her get up too.

“Oh you’re such a sweetheart Sayaka-chan!”

“It’s…No problem at all.” Sayaka wants to flee badly, she wants to run back upstairs and hide in her apartment. How is it that her package was delivered to the landlady?

How was it that she had to be stuck talking to the woman for half an hour? 

Her fingers hug the package closer to her chest as the woman continued to keep talking on and on…God must be deciding today was the day to test her tolerance today wasn’t he? Either way Sayaka remains quiet despite her whole body language screaming how badly she wanted to leave.

“You’re so quiet and barely outside,” her landlady continued before sighing, “You should enjoy yourself a little dear.”

“I…I’m fine honestly,” Sayaka quickly said before bowing, “Now if you excuse me…” She gives the older woman a smile before bolting around her and running around the corner of the apartment complex, only to slam into someone.

Her body falls back and she lands hard on her back, a groan escaping her as she can hear her package rattle loudly from the collision. She weakly sighs before putting her arms over her face, “I’m…So sorry…”

bizarre-bloodline.tumblr.com now officially opens up a semi-closed rp group for many of those folks out there who are looking for something more exclusive and official. this will bear no effect on people who simply want to add the crossover as a verse for their blogs, and is merely suited for those who want things to be more stern and controlled.

Goro highly doubted he ever felt this happy in his entire life. Akira not only had admitted to reciprocating is feelings, but he was also asking him to stay the night? How could he possibly say no?

“Of course, Akira-kun.”

The smile came spontaneously, as did the affectionate nickname and the small kiss he found himself planting on Akira’s head, taking a moment to nuzzle into his soft curls with a breath of relief.

“Do you... want to talk about it? It’s okay if you don’t, I won’t force you... just know that I’m here for you, alright?”

The kiss lasted a bit longer than before, but still ended far too soon for Goro’s liking. Still, he returned Akira’s smile, and hugged him closer when he confessed to not only liking him back but the reason why the whole situation had affected him that much. That was his chance…

“Akira… I may have had some ulterior motives, but believe me, all I ever told you was real, no lies. I cared about you from the very beginning… why do you think I turned again Shido? Because I couldn’t tolerate the idea of killing… the person I loved.” There, he had said it… just in case, he lifted Akira’s face back up, smiling warmly as he kissed him once more “I love you, Akira…”

He looked at Goro and blushed a bit. He certainly did not expect his confession of his issues to go this way. But it did. Did he have any regrets? No. None whatsoever. If this was how Goro Akechi really was, then he would have no qualms trying to do a relationship with him. 

He looked at Goro and smiled. “Do you want to stay the night Goro? I….I want to be near you.” He said as he looked away blushing and sighed. “I’ve been dealing with a lot lately in my mind again. Bad memories of home have been resurfacing in my mind again.”

Verse: Bizarre Bloodlines

[Your Bloodline]; The source of your strength, or the cause of your demise.

Bizarre Bloodline (shortened BBLL, alternatively called Bizarre Bloodlines)  is an open collective RP/Fanfic crossover that takes place in a universe focused mainly on the timeline of the Persona and Ace Attorney games, with other Megami Tensei/ATLUS characters making their appearances…

This world is also torn apart by the endless war between God and Lucifer, who don’t hesitate turning people into pawns and even drag their loved ones into the conflict to achieve their own ends.

Goro Akechi has no bloodline curse to worry about (apparently at least), but that doesn’t mean he’s not somewhat involved in the war...

During the events of Persona 5, the Second Coming of the Detective Prince and Charismatic Detective is the lead investigator of the task force investigating the Phantom Thieves of Hearts, a group of mysterious individual that have been going around ‘stealing the hearts’ of corrupt individuals. Other members of said task force with which Goro finds himself interacting quite often are intel gatherer Futsuo, prosecutor Sae Niijima and attorney Phoenix Wright, often chatting with the former and witnessing the countless banters between the two lawyers. In his pursuit for the truth, Goro also finds himself meeting his childhood idol Naoto Shirogane, the ‘original’ Detective Prince, and even joining the Phantom Thieves of Hearts themselves.

In truth, Goro Akechi works for Masayoshi Shido, ruthless politician controlled by the God of Control Yaldabaoth, and has joined the Phantom Thieves with the intent of killing their leader, Akira Kurusu a.k.a. Joker, on his employer’s orders...

...that is, until he realizes that there’s a better way to get revenge on his employer (unbeknownst to everyone else, his estranged biological father) and, unwilling to assassinate the sole person who ever showed him genuine kindness (for whom he might feel a little more than friendship...), decides to side with the Phantom Thieves for real while still pretending to work for Shido, becoming a de facto triple agent.

When all is said and done and Shido’s finally in prison for his crimes, Goro is ready to go to prison himself for the crimes he committed on Shido’s orders, only for the Shadow Operatives to swoop in, offering Goro a lighter sentence (probation for an undetermined amount of time) in exchange for sharing his knowledge about the Metaverse (being the most experienced Personauser of his ‘generation’, having had his Persona and access to the Metaverse for longer than the others), which Goro accepts with some reluctance. Thus, he leaves Tokyo and moves to Inaba, where he’s looked after by Naoto herself, who agrees to show him the ropes of being a ‘true’ detective. During his probation, Goro still keeps in contact with both sae and Phoenix, even though the latter has since gone back to America.

Once his probation is over, Goro, now a full-fledged detective and truly deserving of his title of Second Coming of the Detective Prince, is given the chance of starting his own investigative business, which he does either back in Tokyo or in America (where he may end up collaborating with certain lawyers...).

Headcanons

Despite not being an Aoyama, he shows some traits related to said family, such as his hair color and shape (all Aoyama kids have natural brunet hair in a bowlcut, which is the shape of Goro’s own hair when properly combed and less messy) and their bloodline curse (being used as pawns by the gods).

Naoto Shirogane is his hero, which he idolized ever since a young age and inspired him to become a detective.
