Somehow I get the feeling I’ll need to get involved soon..

Afternoon Daruk,

I have a request. The Village Elder has requested I teach my technique of creating an updraft to the other Rito Warriors in the Village - well, more challenged than requested. I may admittedly have been running my beak a little preemptively on certain topics.

Regardless, he is demanding to see results by tomorrow and thus far, I am having little luck. It seems my men simply are not up to the task no matter how many times I show them the technique, frankly it's getting sad watching them fall on their faces.

As such, I have had a brilliant idea to instead aquire one of the Gorons cannons in thoughts perhaps we could simply shoot Rito straight into the sky - solving the issue in an entirely different way. Genius, I know.

However, it seems my men are...apprihensive about taking on this endeavour. I am happy to take first test to ensure it is perfectly safe, though in truth I can't fathom how the blasted thing works.

Might I trouble you to make a visit to Hebra this afternoon, should you be free, so explain the controls and to shoot me out of a cannon in example? I hate to make such a request for assistance, however it seems there are times where one must utilise the knowledge of others.

Never thought I'd get a request like this from you! All right, so the average Goron cannon works like this: you gotta get yourself some fruit from a bomb flower grown in the colder caves down in lower Eldin. Then bundle it up in our special fireproof padding (same stuff used for Flamebreaker Armor). That's to make sure Death Mountain's air can't set it off.

After that, ya stick the charge into the chamber of the cannon and shut it up. Drop a cannonball into the barrel and coat it with some oil resin. Then, you use a metal rod to jam down into the chamber really hard and burst the fruit. The pressure will push the cannonball right out, and the resin adds some nice flames on the trip.

Good news! Since you live up in Tabantha, we won't need the padding. Just bomb flowers and-- actually come to think of it, you're kinda small for the mouth of a cannon. You gotta be able to plug the hole or you won't get anything but an unpleasant blast of heat. Maybe we can just plug the rest up with blue Chuchu jelly.

Oh yeah, the heat! Cannons ain't exactly a day out in Lurelin on the inside. You're gonna need to coat your whole bottom end in fireproof elixir...

Maybe the top end too. Can't be sure what that Chuchu jelly will do. And also! I'm sure you already knew, but aim out into the wide open air, and make sure there's nothin' in your path. Don't think your beak would look too great if it got to know the side of a cliff.

All right! This is gonna be great. I'll be down there in a few. You get together some Chuchu jelly and I'll bring the fireproof elixir. We'll have your guys flying high in no time.

You are misinformed. I never fall unwell. My immune system is in ideal condition. I am simply up training in the mountains to hone my skills in private, without the distractions of the Village. Any speculation about my whereabouts being due to an issue of reoccuring ill-health as a result of my bioligy is nothing but lies to slander my good name.

Regardless, I shall accept your gift. I had never considered adding crab meat to cookies, and admittedly it was a strange - but not unwelcome suprise. It's unexpectedly pleasent. Perhaps I should explore more Zora cuisine. Send the recipie.

do you have romantic feelings for Link? (if so do you know if he reciprocates them?)

I, em…

I am quite fond of him. I enjoy his kindness, his sense of humor, his cooking, the way he can inspire those around him, the way he..used to spend so time with me..

I wouldn’t matter if I loved him or not, however. I’m starting to suspect his love for me was only as a friend, and a different princess found her way into his heart..

It’s alright though. I’m happy for them both.

Zora have such a long lifespan! How old are you, Champion Mipha? Does it ever bother you that you might outlive the other Champions? It must be so strange to watch people you love grow older without you. Especially Rito only living to like 50 - 50 years must be like, a speck to you! (Sorry ma'am, I hope this isn't insensitive to ask!)

I will admit, it isn’t something I like to think about..

All I can hope is that I can meet their ancestors so that I can always stay connected to some part of my friends. Maybe we’ll all meet again in another life.

What's the strangest injury you've ever healed for someone?

Thank you, that’s very sweet of you! I’m glad to see that I am loved outside of the domain!

As for injuries i’ve healed, Link has always had the strangest. There was a time he had tried to show the Princess a trick with the bomb rune with the sheikah slate. He blew himself up on accident, and proceeded to do it twice more until the Princess asked him to stop.

Link didn’t seem fazed, but I will admit I internally face palmed as I healed him..

Some people underestimate you because of your healing ability. Does that bother you?

As much as I wish I could say it doesn’t, it really does. It was a little disheartening that I was chosen as a champion for my powers to heal and not for my talent with a trident, but I was happy to be chosen nonetheless.

Unfortunately, it has only continued since then. People rarely interact with me unless they need to be healed, or they want a healer on a mission with them as a precaution. As much as I love them, a few of my friends have a habit of this as well, sometimes even Link..

Luckily, the other champions seem to be better about it than most, especially Revali, as I go on missions with him the most. So while being underestimated can be frustrating, I know that my friends still appreciate all of my skills, not just my magic.

Does being around Urbosa make you nervous? Because of her lightning abilities and how vulnerable zora are to lightning?

She’s intimidating for sure, but I feel safe around her.

She accidentally shocked me once while we were fighting monsters together. It didn’t hurt that badly and I healed it just fine, but she’s been especially careful to mind every strike of her lightning since.

I trust her not to hurt me accidentally, and even if she did, I would be able to heal it.

Are you friends with Revali? Or does his attitude make him too hard to put up with?

It may surprise you, but we’re very good friends! He was rude when we first interacted, but after fighting alongside each other for the first time, he’s been very polite to me since.

I find him to be good company, he can be quiet and thoughtful, so his presence is never overwhelming. I enjoy going on missions with him as well, especially since Link doesn’t have any time to..
