The background would be in the sandwings kingdom why well the sandwings are kinda of a representation of Arabia so it’s the easiest thing to draw out of what it might look like.

Since I am kinda doing a sort a crossover I imagine that the sandwings highly praised the jinn so the sandwings put up magical spells on there kingdom for the jinn that come if they have masters the magical barrier will allow the jinn to walk around freely without being forced back into whatever idiom they were placed in that’s why sun and moon are nowhere near the professor (there master) and are having a great time of their life (moon is he’s not showing it)
