{I BELIEVE MY ENTIRE BLOG IS JUST BECOMING A LIST OF APOLOGY POSTS AND I’M SORRY BUT I’M SORRY r.i.p. but I will come back soon though. I have a new [not excessive glitcing] phone finally so to fill in space I might draw some. Also, just need to get an art program on the laptop, and that should be good to go. There’s just a lot going on. I had my sweet 16! This weekend I will be going to a Model United Nations conference! My fencing season started up!

¡Feliz cumpleaños!
Today marks 523 years since the Spaniards landed in Puerto Rico, kicking this island off into the international stage.

Bless this reblog
{I’m so late to say that my laptop was r.i.p. (because of found viruses and just plain clogging up) for the majority of the month but it’s back and clean and fresh and hip and I’m just hoping that this hard drive that my stepfather is keeping aside actually still has my drawing application and previous photos, I love ArtRage.}

ALSO THE CAMERA WAS ON THE TEAM FOR LIKE HALF A MINUTE, I DIDN’T GET TO APPRECIATE THEIR PRESENCE AND OUTFITS LIKE I THOUGHT I WOULD, THERE WAS NO MAGICAL ELEMENT BECAUSE THEY GO TOO FAST FOR THE UNITED STATES. HMM I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING IN THE U.S. GO INTO ACTION THIS FAST, I WONDER WHY.
I almost broke my TV they kept showing the USA team randomly when other countries were passing by???? like ok I get I’m watching it in an American channel but cmon it’s ridiculous. And also just before Puerto Rico appeared I could’ve sworn they were gonna cut us out they completely changed the camera to them again. I thought they were gonna do a trick since my country is an insignificant U.S territory.

"Puerto Rican food is notorious for it's lack of spicy heat. Flavorful and rich, yes. Spicy, though, it is not."
FOR EVERY PERSON THAT IS FOR SOME REASON SOOOO SUPRISED WHEN I SAY I DON'T LIKE AND CAN'T HANDLE ANYTHING SPICY. MY SPICE TOLERANCE IS TWO JAMAICAN BEEF PATTIES PER YEAR. TWO MILD JAMAICAN BEEF PATTIES.
Cooking Around The World: Puerto Rico
Tumblr media
¡Bienvenidos as la Isla del Encanto! Por fin, puedo cocinar la comida de mi gente.
Welcome to the Island of Enchantment! At last, I can cook the food of my people.
It’s a time for celebration. Having finally finished my 193-week, round-the-world, learn-to-cook challenge last week, it is now time – at last –  to cook the food I grew up with, a cuisine which, ironically, got passed over in my “cooking the food of all the United Nations member states” thing.
So, yes, it is time for a week of the food of mi patria, Puerto Rico!
And before we head into a four-week period where we fill a few of the non-UN member nations/disputed lands that we missed, before officially launching the Global Cooking Adventure (details here), let’s finally take a look at the land of my origin.
Read on.

Guys
seriously, why does everyone portray Cuba as such a dick-
“ Character notes describe Cuba as being a good natured, nice big brother with strong emotions that he is very faithful to. At heart, he is a cheerful and chivalrous man.  ”

{ALL OF THEM. <sub>I am so sorry for my late late response ughughugh</sub>}
See these legs? These legs were made for dancing!
{And climbing mountains! Yes, people have cars, and yes, Puerto Rico has paved roads, but that doesn’t get in the way of steep streets and houses with stilts on cliffs. Strong legs are a must, not just for sports or checking out crops, but for any daily activity when your not in the urban areas. It is strength to get up and down the hill each day.
Of course, another major curve is the butt. Body structure/genes for this Caribbean woman allows for some fat to collect in the thighs and near the hips (bonus for the [butt] cushioning that accommodates to P.R.’s wide hips). Though a stereotype, remember not all women will have big butts, as it is a ridiculous expectation for all. Any firmness may be a result from those mountains.
As well, there is torso. The chest area is most likely the average for Puerto Rican women (probably around a B or C cup (also a result from American food that has grown more in use on the island. It’s known many disturbed products seem to have [a lot of] hormones). The other curve is the tummy area. It is not a flat stomach, but a soft tummy. Not toned, despite all the daily activity. Her torso widens out. Even she has a bigger barriga when she sits, too.
A figure that borders between hourglass and pear.
Outfit inspired from this post here.
This ask inspired me to finally start making a “guide/reference” of sorts, if anyone wants to see that revealed when it is more finalized.}
