Crimson Cloak, Kiyotaka!
Crimson Cloak- If you could play a character in a film/book/musical who would it be?
I don’t consider myself an actor. While being apart of a drama club does make for a worthy extracurricular activity, it never resonated with me as an individual.
If I had to pick, I have been told I’d be able to portray Javert from Victor Hugo’s Les Misérables rather efficiently. So, hypothetically, that would be my role of choice!

*She nods slowly at that before adjusting her shades* Of course I do. I've had friends who've had to deal with that. Convincing people isn't the easiest thing and things can happen. But they tried despite all that and even if things like that can happen the fact that they tried is still important. I just have a lot of faith in people with what I've been through...
I won’t be forcing you to talk about it, but I can tell it’s bad enough to warrant bringing “moral redemption” into the conversation.
I... guess maybe the most important thing is to try. Better than staying on the side that hurts people you care about, anyways. People don’t have the obligation to trust or forgive you, so by the end of it, you’re better off doing good for yourself to do better from then on. No need to please anyone, even if they never accept you.
Not-- that that’s coming from me, exactly. I’m only saying what I think might be a smart choice to do.

(medical intern) Dunno. I think the doctors are supposed to be doing some kind of stimulus testing or something. See if anything makes her react the same way. Or something like that.
Is that safe?! Is that wise to do?!
I’d sincerely hate for you to be under the impression that I don’t trust medical officials, especially ones highly trained in the middle of the apocalypse, but you shouldn’t be surprised at “certain afflictions” overpowering the strong or experienced.

*The door to the room they're in opens* "Yumiko? Are you in here?" *Akari walks in* "Come on out~ It'll only- *notices the two of them* Oh hey! When did you guys get here? You have any luck?
If it’s Yumiko you’re looking for, then yes... and no. We found her alright, but then she disappeared through the wall after staring at us without saying anything.
I don’t suppose you know any way of navigating through this place or tracking down the mutants somehow? Most people can’t tell which way to go when they... phase through a wall.

*She simply listens and gazes towards her with calm understanding and thoughtfulness* Its true that I don't know you and what you've been through... I couldn't possibly compare myself to you because of that. But... I've met many people who have done horrible things... Unspeakable things... And they redeemed themselves... You may have done those sorts of things too but that doesn't mean you can't do your best to make up for it. You can't take it back but you can do your best.
Right. I’ve heard that line before. My head’s only not wanted with my head on a platter is because I got lucky trying. You realize there’s such a thing as trying to do good and only getting kicked down over and over, don’t you?
Which also happened to me, but again, got lucky. Some others, not so much and they wind up either dead or worse than what they were trying to bounce back from.

I don't know if you're still here but rereading your blog is making me smile. Except for those bits of angst that are making me sad.
//*NEO-AIKIDO KICKS THE DOOR DOWN, HUFF! HUFF!* I’M NOT DEAD OR CLOSED, I SWEAR.
//Awww, thanks a bunch, Anon! I’ve been slacking behind on this blog a LOT, but I still have no plans on closing it, dw. I logged on hoping I’d get some asks done, matter of fact, so stay tuned!

(Medical intern) I'm afraid we don't know that yet. From what I heard she was helping with groceries when she suddenly began acting erratic and tried to run. She seemed to calm down after being brought in but when one of the doctors tried to take a blood sample she, uh, she didn't react too well to that and tried to fight him. That's why she was strapped down. She's supposed to be tested some more later so maybe we'll find something then.
You don’t think she saw something bothersome, do you? Perhaps there was an unknown threat in the corner of her eye and she panicked, which was further exacerbated by a hidden fear?
That’s-- only my mere guess. If I were to suggest something else, it’d be far less pleasant and involves the thought of being infiltrated.

*walks up to the nearest student* "Excuse me? Is this the Future Foundation?"
This would be the only building intact enough to have such a name like that, yes. What do you want?

*She pushes up her sunglasses with a grin at that but quickly shakes her head at the last part* Same here! I've been through a lot so nothing really phases me. Though its alright to not be like everyone else too. Life is what you make of it.
Yeah, you and I are not in the same boat here. I don’t know your life, but I’ve done nothing with mine but turn it so far on its head it can’t be spun back.
There’s a very thick line between “being different” and “being damn despicable”, and I think you can guess which I’ve made more for myself.

*She shook her head at that and carefully wiped the blood off before lowering her sunglasses so the other could see her red and lizard-like eyes* Its because of these... I don't know why but I've always been different than most people... Oh and that wasn't a drink either! That was my blood. Let's just say there's a lot of weird stuff about me...
You know what? Considering everything I’ve seen in my lifetime, I’ve got no place calling you a weirdo. I myself am hardly fit to call myself “human”, so that’d be the pot saying the kettle’s black.

Have someone scan all art related mail from now on?
I’ll keep that in check from this day forth! No more lewd pictures of my comrades will pass by me or my watchful eyes!
And if somebody tries to pull a fast one, I’ll be the first to find out and deal with them accordingly! Future Foundation is no place for inappropriate behavior or obscenity!

*She merely grinned at that and stopped leaning on her, lifting both her jacket and her shirt to show that the wound was already healed for the most part even if there was orange tinted blood around it* I heal faster than regular people. A wound like that is like a cut to me. Don't know what the person who stabbed me was after but he's gonna have to try harder than that!
You healed that fast already? How is that even possible--?
Umm, did you spill something on yourself after you got stabbed? Was the other person enjoying some Orange Panta at the time, perchance?

"Yeah. I think that's it. Hold on." *The guard leans inside the door* "Hey! Hiroshi! Get out here!" *Guard goes back to keeping watch. Eventually Hiroshi comes out. He's covered with scars that looks like he had a fight with a wild animal.* "You're- You're Leon Kuwata right? ...Come on. Let's talk. There's not a lot of time."
Yikes! A few minutes late and ya miss everything! What the Hell happened to you before I came here, man?
But, anyways, yeah. I’m your guy-- former Ultimate Baseball Player an’ what not. Why’d you call me of all people over here?

Gah--!
*already hugging the pup and petting it close to him* Shit, this is how ya kill someone, ya know? Not like I’ve got the heart of some 80-year old, but fuckin’ warn me first before you overload me with something so... soft and pure, and...
...Maybe not show this to Chihiro right now. I’m getting cavities just thinkin’ about the two meetin’ already.

*A medical intern runs over to Yamada* Please be careful. We're not sure but we believe she may have been drugged with something. Right now we're trying to determine if she's a risk.
O-- oh! Is that correct? What might she have been drugged with, if you don’t mind me asking? And is it dangerous? Fatal? Both?!

Fahrenheit 451 - What’s your favorite book? (For Ishi)
My favorite? Well, I’ve read my share of novels in my lifetime, but they were usually for related assignments in my classes! No less, I remember each as clear as day!
If I were to pick a favorite, however, “The Scarlet Letter” would certainly be a great choice! Pardoning the whole adultery mess, I found it rather empowering for Miss Prynne to have made more or less of a meaningful life for herself through hard work alone, and regaining the respect of the community that once shunned her!
...Seems it would be nice to earn respect back from everyone even with a big black stain on your family’s tarnished reputation, wouldn’t it? I’ve still got quite a ways to go in that department.
