Musgravite: Moonstone was... Rich’s supervisor. Blue Diamond ordered Moonstone to find Jeremy and take him back to Homeworld. Brooke went with her as a pilot and... tech gem? I don’t know, I haven’t asked much about Brooke’s life on Homeworld. Rich was the only quartz they could spare at the time; Homeworld’s been running low on resources for a long while.

((This is the shard creature. Jeremy’s AGATE, after ejecting from his form after he fused with Michael the first time, only had enough power to form a hand and dragged its shard to the handful of others that Rich dropped after poofing inside Jake’s house. With the heat and the pressure of the hand squeezing them against one another, the shards managed to somewhat fuse, allowing them a more powerful form… This. It’s bigger than Jake’s house.))

((This is Bull’s Eye Agate. Shards from this gem and others of the same kind are what took over Rich and Jeremy, like how gem shards possessed the Frybo costume. The actual shard is inside of the hosts form, so it’s invisible, but the host hallucinates the gem the shard belonged to. This is from 2017.))

In the flashback Rich’s eyes are blue, yet their eyes are red now. Is there any particular reason for that?

Musgravite: Rich… was going through a really rough time… He made some stupid decisions.

Musgravite: It’s not my place to tell you what he was going through or why he set fire to Jake’s house.

Musgravite: But Michael couldn’t just let Jake get hurt- even worse, die. At that point, he was also growing attached to Rich, being quartzes and all, so that made it even easier for him to jump into danger like that… Jeremy was going through some stuff and didn’t really want to go risking himself for them.

Musgravite: But he also… he couldn’t let Michael go in there without a plan or backup.

Musgravite: It took a lot for him to push past everything and actually go after Michael…

Musgravite: And then there was me.

Musgravite: I found Jake collapsed on the floor, Rich was poofed…

Musgravite: Seeing Jake like that… I felt so much more for Jake than Michael or Jeremy ever had.

Musgravite: I carried him out of there after bubbling Rich’s gem. Luckily, Jake didn’t get that hurt… But he’s got some minor lung issues? I don’t know how human stuff works. 

Musgravite: But uh, yeah… That’s why I exist.

Musgravite: Brooke’s an Orthoclase, and Rich is a Carnelian! He’s got some cool bits of Sard in him because of... Something that happened, but he looks badass!

Musgravite: I don’t, actually! A lot of the time, yeah, but- okay, how about this for a segway- Jeremy and Michael like to fuse with other gems as well! A while after we- they arrived on Earth, Rich showed up, and then Brooke and Moonstone, and there was... a thing...

Musgravite: And now Brooke and Rich stay with us! Well, those are the Earth names that Christine gave them.
