Dear Hetalia Fandom,

So I am very sure many of you have seen posts where people are speaking out about how awful the old fandom was, and when the new season releases, we must make sure that new fans stay educated to not not be like the old fandom.

Please educate the new people older fans if they repeat the old fandoms mistakes.

This fandom is amazing and fun when everything is done rightfully. I remember falling in love with the fandom when I starting seeing people educate others on history, posts were full of diversity, Latin Hetalia arose (I am Hispanic so that made me extremely happy since there is not much Hispanic rep in anime), and I met people who were just so kind and wonderful to chat with! Let’s give a good experience to new fans. I am sure will have rough patches, but let us get through them maturely and calm.

And while though yes, at the end of the day this is just a fun show to watch, we need to be responsible. Respect ships, respect peoples head cannons, when in disagreement civilly talk about it, remember that this show is not serious, and PLEASE respect culture.

Hey guys!

So if anyone here follows my other blogs, I am sure you know what I’ll be discussing about in this post.

I’ve made a decision to move on from the Hetalia fandom.

Now hold your horses before you get worried now about this blog. I stated in my other post that I just didn’t feel close to the fandom as much as I did before but my love for the fandom and characters is everlasting. It won’t ever fade away at all since it was big part of my life in improving my art, and making meet some wonderful people that I care deeply about.

Now I am sure you guys want to know what will be happening to this blog. Well for starters, I won’t be deleting it, however, I think the activity here may be gone. Now just wait a second. Rusame is a ship I hold very dearly and I don’t think I can let go of these two and this blog that easily. So! What I would like to do is continue off with the blog until I know I can say goodbye to it. But before that emotional stuff, I am determined to do as much as I can for my two favorite characters that brought me a lot of joy.

I plan on doing that with YOU GUYS helping me out. I would like (and very much appreciate) you guys to send on in some asks!! Ask anything and everything to these two!!! And don’t be afraid to be out of the box!!!! I want to go out with a bang here so if you guys can do that for me I will be very grateful! And I of course won’t leave you all with the work. I have some projects and little small things planned for you all!

Rusame Zine

Hey guys! I’m hopping on the Hetalia Zine wave and have decided there will be a Rusame zine!

The details and specifics are still being worked out, but so far what I’ve got is:

- It will be SFW, and there will be a theme to it. I’m open to suggestions and titles!

-It will be story-focused, so there will be fic and comics. Fics will be illustrated by artists who don’t draw comics. Fics should be between 3-6k, comics between 3-5pgs, and everything will be new for the zine.

-The amount of contributors accepted will depend on the amount of applications received, but I’m hoping for around 40 participants total.

-Profits will go to charity, though which one(s) is not decided. I’m open to suggestions!

-I’m hoping for a physical run as well as digital. Preorders will probably open around November/December.

If I missed anything, feel free to ask! Everything regarding this will be tagged #rusame zine, so it’s easy to follow/block if you want.

Hey guys....

I was hoping to never make a post like this, but unfortunately life isn’t so kind like that at times. Today I got news that my father tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.

I know that the updates have been quite slow in this blog, and unfortunately it will be even slower now. My sincerest apologies, but I have to be with my family.

Thank you to all my followers who have stayed and supported my blog. Doing this makes me smile so I’ll definitely be trying to make updates to keep my mind afloat.

And also, please remember to be washing your hands and wearing your mask. I have no idea how my father got such a virus since we have been so careful so please be mindful everyone.

Hey guys, this posting here is very different then what I normally post on here. I haven’t been really seeing any talk in the Hetalia fandom of what’s been happening in the US though I am sure many of you know.

The BLM movment has been directing so many positive changes that should have been made long ago, and has made changes as well in state governments. Please stay knowledgeable of what’s going on and please take time to just sign petitions, donate, attend protests (if able to), spread awareness, and speak up.

Your voice is a powerful tool to make change happen.
