I think it’s kind of funny how coin (who obviously wanted peeta rescued from the arena instead of katniss) doesn’t see what an absolute nightmare he would be for her to deal with if she left katniss in that arena

Like she thinks katniss was hard to deal with/manipulate/control after she left peeta behind? Peeta would’ve had her whole district eating out to the palm of his hand before she even realized who she was dealing with. She thought katniss was too single minded/stubborn about her focus on saving peeta over the revolution itself? He would have been her absolute nightmare (and I adore him for it)

IN PSYCHO WHEN NORMAN IS TALKING TO MARION IN THE PARLOUR AND TALKS ABOUT THE WAY HIS MOTHER’S LOVER DIED HE SAYS:

“And the way he died… I suppose it’s nothing to talk about while you’re eating”.

AND IT’S NOT JUST BECAUSE OF HOW GRUESOME IT WAS. IT WAS BECAUSE HE POISONED THEIR FOOD. HE POISONED THEM AND THAT’S THE DOUBLE MEANING. Because she’s eating.

the line itself is phenomenal. the way Hitchcock uses angles to make the scene feel so ominous and sinister. THE WAY TONY DELIVERS THE LINE LIKE ITS AN INSIDE JOKE BETWEEN NORMAN AND HIMSELF.

So I have been OBSESSED with Norman Bates/Psycho lately, ever since I watched Psycho at the end of last year, so I decided to draw some fanart for this old af movie

I know the movie is obviously in black and white but I wanted to experiment with trying to colorize him since he obviously wouldn't be various shades of gray in real life while still keeping the vibes of the movie, and I have mixed results of the final product but oh well.
