I'm not sure if I've seen this one before, but:

Carewhumper washing whumpee under the shower.

"I can shower myself." - "I know."

Carewhumper's touch holds no bad intentions, but it is invasive nevertheless

whumpee who expected to just having to take whumper's abuse passively/helplessly, but whumper is ordering them to actively participate

for example, whumpee just expected to be held/tied down and abused, but whumper is ordering them to undress instead of ripping their clothes off. whumper ordering whumpee to touch the hot iron instead of pressing it against their skin. whumper ordering whumpee to prepare the implements of their torture.

something something whumper forcing whumpee to be vulnerable. tasks and orders that aren't degrading as such, and force whumpee to get close to whumper. to get in reaching distance. maybe to have their back turned. perhaps something precise that requires whumpee to focus while whumper watches and could oh-so-easily do something. maybe... whumpee struggling to unclasp whumper's coat, keenly aware of whumper's amused staring.

whumpees who would, in fact, rather kneel and stay still for whumper than continue on with their tasks while whumper just stands there, out of their sight.

What about whumper befriending caretaker after caretaker "lost" whumpee?

The whumper loved the facade they had mastered, one that presented them as a quiet and harmless person, as it meant that nobody ever suspected them after the whumpee disappeared. The whumper had plenty of time before others even thought about them as a suspect, and they were going to make every second agonizing for their poor captive.

rescued whumpee who is incredibly suspicious of caretaker and others, because they have learned the hard way that nothing is for free and everything good is always paired with something terrible. they can't believe caretaker would do anything for them just for the sake of being kind.

possibly also paired with whumpee having an incredibly low self-worth and believing they don't deserve kindness.

whumpee who was forced to participate in the abuse of other whumpees. whumpee who has been conditioned to become a whumper. whumpee who thinks they're a bad person and don't deserve saving (or anything good).

whumper who promises things to whumpee in return for whumpee doing certain things. every time whumpee thinks they are done with the task, whumper tells them that either

a) there is actually more to do, whumpee clearly misinterpreted the instructions. it's their fault they are stupid enough to believe the task was that simple. or

b) the reward is actually much smaller. again, it is whumpees fault for thinking there'd be more.

a caretaker who gradually becomes very similar to whumper, but they tell themselves with every thing that it's just to protect and help whumpee. they don't see how they are turning into whumper, but whumpee does.

a caretaker that thinks they're helping whumpee by going through their phone and invading their privacy to make sure they're not doing anything bad but it just makes whumpee more anxious, especially when caretaker interrogates them about something they found

Currently going feral over the thought of a carewhumpee. Like, a Whumpee who spends all their time with Whumper trying to protect the other Whumpee(s), be that by pleading for them, trying to draw Whumper's attention away from the others with insults, or whatever.

And even after they've all escaped or been rescued, Carewhumpee does their best to take on the role of caretaker for the other Whumpee(s), neglecting their own injuries and trauma to an unhealthy degree.

whumpee and whumper being the same person would be so much fun if one of them was a time traveller. there's so many ideas with that!

for example, a younger whumper hurting their older self without recognising that whumpee is an older version of them. whumpee doesn't want whumper to find out, because it would break whumper knowing they just tortured themselves, and also because whumpee (having been in exactly the same place as whumper) understands whumper's pain and anger.

maybe whumper travelled ahead in time and through some misunderstanding thinks whumpee has done some evil (maybe to whumper).

maybe whumpee travels back in time and whumper assumes that the reason why whumpee knows so much about them is because they're some perverted creep.

maybe whumpee/whumper is trans and that's why the pre-transition whumper doesn't recognise post-transition whumpee

Does it still count as whump if the whumpee and whumper (?) are the same person?

Like, remaining in a time loop where they keep getting injured but they choose to stay because of a goal they want to reach? Bonus points if whumpee is partly participating in a different whumper's torment because they have something they want to the point they're willing to hurt themselves to get it.

female carewhumper smiling and gently caressing whumpees hair as her newly acquired whumpee drifts off into a drug-induced unconsciousness, not knowing what carewhumper has in stock for them. whumpee weakly tries to fight it, but carewhumper shushes them.

"shhh, just go to sleep, everything's going to be fine, sweetheart."

whumper didn't lock whumpee up or abducted them. no, whumper lured whumpee in when they were most vulnerable, promising a soft bed, a warm meal and an understanding listener. then, whumper made sure that whumpee became as dependent on whumper as possible.

whumpee slowly realised whumper's promises were just a mask to hide their abusive personality, but it was already too late. whumpee was emotionally and financially dependent on whumper.

even after whumpee left, promising themselves that this time they left for good, it doesn't take long for them to knock on whumper's door like a lost puppy.

A whumpee that's so genuinely tired of trying to re-adjust to "normal" life, having to make their own decisions, take care of themselves, cook ther own meals, that they just want to go back to Whumper. At least then they wouldn't have to worry about anything.

On the other hand, a stoic child whumpee who gets treated according to their age, but they're annoyed, because what whumper did to them made them having to grow up/mature faster & whumper treated them like an adult.

A teenaged whumpee that keeps getting babied by everyone around them. They're seen as just a widdle trwamatized baby and it's infuriating as fuck

whumpee gets saved and caretaker checks their body for injuries and realises with relief that they are completely fine. no scars, no bruises, no wounds. it is only later when caretaker realises that the harm whumpee sustained is purely of mental/psychological nature, and god is their mind damaged..

Whumpee who during their captivity holds a serious grudge against their teammate who seemingly helped whumper capture whumpee, only for whumpee to find out after they've been rescued, that teammate sacrificed their life trying to stop whumpee being captured
