Another fun look into my life. While I have grown and accepted my queer identity, those around me have taken different paths.

I get to live with fun things like my younger brother parading around saying how Christ has saved him and that he’s no longer gay as a result.

As a pansexual, demiromantic, ase spec Christian, I can’t help but wince. He doesn’t know I’m queer and my mom who he was talking to doesn’t know I’m queer. To place a saving of the self around a straightification boggles me, especially whenever he admits to still finding men tempting from time to time.

I think Jesus loves me, queerness and all. I walk both new and old, accepting more peers and living by some older traditions, like prayer. I am one, I am whole. I’ve never felt more at peace than after actualizing myself as a queer person and a Christian.

I love this band. I feel my own spiritual and queer journey within their songs. “I’m looking forward to the day humanity can grow without decay.”

I feel the peace I’ve described within this song. Me me big comfort song.
