TechnoCoven is a Convention with a purpose. While it is free to attend TechnoCoven, there is the option to donate to charity to access additional perks. TechnoCoven will be supporting the following charities: Doctors Without Borders, Feeding America, COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund, Direct Relief, and Meals on Wheels.
The link to join the official server will be posted on the @technocoven blog on April 29, 2020! The fun will start on May 1, 2020 at 9am EST!

Pagan Art Community
Werifesteria is a Pagan art community.
No matter what path you’re on or how long you’ve been on it, at some point you’ve felt the inspiration to create. Whether painting, weaving, drawing, or your personal grimoire. In the woods of Werifesteria we call pagan crafters and artists of all types to come explore how you express your practice through your art.
So leave your shoes on the path, you…

Shadow Work
Your shadow self is made of everything you have repressed. Every traumatic memory and feeling of pain. Every fear, every perceived weakness, everything that you’ve convinced yourself is negative. For some it is the most terrifying part of our psyche. But it is not in and of itself negative. We see it that way because we are afraid to accept it. Accepting those parts of ourselves can give us great…

What's in a name?
What’s in a name?
It is known that names can hold power. Names of people, names of places, names of things. This idea of naming children to give them strength and other attributes associated with that name also applies to concepts and ideas. Since humans first learned language we have been naming everything that is important to us. Naming something gives it an identity and defines what it is. And in a world of…

🐺Fenrir Devotional Tips🐺
Fenrir is son of Loki and Angrboða, brother to Hel and Jörmungandr. Fenrir is a godly wolf larger than the mountains of Jötunheim, his name translates to “he who dwells in marshes”. Fenrir is a deity for the misunderstood, for those trying to grow when others want to keep you chained down, for speaking up and courage, a god of wrath, courage, anger, and sadness, and a protector of swamps. Please keep in mind that Fenrir was not commonly worshipped in Nordic times so most information on worshipping him is entirely UPG or SPG.
Donate to local wolf rehabilitation centers(or the Colorado one).
Use the runes Isa, Halgaz, Naudiz, or Berkana in your altar or practice.
You can use the colors, black, brown, gray, white, dark blues, and red in your altar or offerings to him.
Practice self-care, the kind that is good and specific for you, not what others tell you self-care is.
Decorate your home and altar with wolves or items/decorations that remind you of the swamp and Fenrir.
Plant juniper, yarrow, turmeric, onion, vervain, or night blooming flowers in your home garden.
Be more honest and vocal about your opinions.
Try to do a devotional act or offering on foggy, rainy days. I find strong connections to him then!
Read the stories that mention him in the Poetic + Prose Eddas; as well as the Gylfaginning, Skáldskaparmál, Háttatal, and Heimskringla.
Take a personal weekend trip to the mountains.
Light candles or incense of musk, juniper, cedarwood, mugwort, and myrrh as offerings or devotional time with him.
Take walks or hikes in forgotten places(parks, graveyards, etc.).
Help clean up or maintain those places.
Wear darker make up + accessories to honor him.
Use crystals like smoky topaz, obsidian, howite, lapis lazuli, black agate, smoky quartz, lava rock, chryscolla, or bloodstone.
Protect the vulnerable.
Leave out offerings of (medium)rare meat, mead, or hearty meals.

The aufhocker is a shapeshifting, vampiric creature in German folklore. Though it has no definitive form, it is often said to appear as an enormous black dog.
The aufhocker is known for attacking travellers at night, particularly at crossroads. Some say it stands on its hind legs when it attacks. It viciously tears out the throats of its victims, and is believed by some to be unkillable.

Things I associate with Fenrir
By no means is this an inexhaustible list and I’ll probably update it at some point, please feel free to add your own!
- The burn of your muscles as you push through the pain and keep walking. - The savage joy of proving an asshole wrong. - The moment in the woods when everything goes quiet and still, like the forest itself is waiting for something. - The first bite of a rare steak, all bloody and meaty. - Playing tug of war with a dog and growling back. - The moments when you’re running and feel like you could go in forever. - Knowing you’ll get where you want to be eventually - Nature winning - flowers cropping up through concrete, ivy growing up houses, that one mint plant that won’t go away - despite all that’s being done to crush it - The cycle of death and rebirth, destruction bringing life - Not losing sight of your goals, no matter how out of reach they seem - Biting the hands that try to bind you.
