hi! i just wanted to tell you that im a huge fan of the vishnal and frey fic you wrote about the two of them having tea. i read it a couple years ago and i was going to do a re-read today, but i was so sad to see it was gone! ive realized how important it is to tell authors how much you love their work before they disappear. so i just wanted to let you know that was one of my favorite vishnal fics! :) 💓

here’s 5 things you can do to encourage them:

Reblog their fic link on tumblr (bonus if it’s with tags)

Bookmark the fic with a note about what you’re excited about/love in the fic

Recommend the fic to your friends or local discord channel

Draw art or create other media for the fic (as indicated by the author’s comfort level)

Leave them a comment when re-reading about the parts of the chapter/story that stood out to you the second time

i know that we all agreeded that if the story from scum villain was told from anyone’s pov besides Shen Qingqiu it’d be a great tragedy, but i feel like we often limit ourselves to which person the pov should come from. Most people, myself, included would love to read the story from Luo Binghe’s pov because it truly is the most solid choice in order to get the full extent of the story, but what if the story was told from Liu Qingge’s pov. It’d be a great tragedy, because of how little he knows for how much he is involved in the plot. If in Luo Binghe’s pov we’d see Shen Qingqiu as a confusing if flighty in his affections love interest on Liu Qingge’s pov we’d see him as a impossibly kind man that (he failed to protect) had his favor paid in an obession that refused to give him peace even in death, a self sacrificial would be love interest that in order to either protect his sect, take responsability for the monster he created, or to appease his own sense of guilt, decided to get with his former discipline that is dangerously obsessed with him. Would that pov be accurate? No, but i know i’d end the story crying my eyes out

hello all! i've finally brought my liushen tanghulu threadfic to my gdocs, cleaned it, and added some detail for ao3! i've purposefully kept it unlocked because i wanted to inform you that my works are also hosted on squidgeworld, which is an alternative to ao3! but more importantly than that, all of my fics on squidgeworld are unlocked! this means that guest commenters who do not have an ao3 account and do not want to go through the process can still read my works!

part of my reason for locking my fics on ao3 was the otw's AI-neutral response. however, squidgeworld is strictly anti-AI. i feel comfortable with keeping my fics unlocked there, and this is what i'll continue to do for the foreseeable future.

however, there is absolutely no pressure to migrate to squidgeworld! my fics will continue to be uploaded to ao3 as well, and both platforms will host my fics (with the exception of love comes quietly, since i mostly write liushen anyways).

i wanted to offer an option for non-ao3 readers in case they want to still access and read my works! all of this information is also in the a/n at the end of the tanghulu threadfic.

I'm two chapters late but this adorable scene from @antimonia iconic liushen fic wouldn't leave my mind!

If you like oblivious liu shidi, surprisingly emotionally intelligent shen yuan and only one person in the relationship knowing that they're dating go check it out and give it some love (i promise its so good! it has great writing, a lot of pining and liu shidi clowning on himself every chapter)

Ok so, when I first read through the prompt list for this year I was super exhausted & instead of reading the prompt as Unexpected/Contact my brain went ‼️UNEXPECTED CONTACT‼️ & immediately I thought of this scene from @antimonia’s fic The Heart Shall Speak Softly on ao3.

I love it so much it gave me all the soft mushy feelings. Just like I love it when some fics let Liu Qingge be a confident flirt, I absolutely LOVE it when authors decided to give Shen Yuan the brain cell that processes self awareness. 10/10 highly recommend.
