a comic I have been thinking about for a long long time which was meant to be full color/more detailed BUT I'm already too far behind and while this is not the totally finished product I still wanted to share it

Do you want to help run an ANS event?

One of us, admins, is stepping down coming up, and we'd like to open up the chance (though it was open before, but we hadn't publicly said so), for a new or multiple new admins! So, if you have great ideas for brand new ANS events or always wanted to help put together a fandom event, now is your time! Send either an ask to this page, and we'll answer you privately or a message. And we'll get back to you. The only required account other than a Tumblr (to help moderate and with putting together posts) is a Discord (to discuss prompts and do the other event planning).

Every person has unique experiences and thoughts to share, and right now, the only admins have been writers so it would also be super cool if someone who draws or makes fanmixes or cosplays or even just an observer steps up to share unique insights and help brainstorm prompts.

The admin who is stepping down will be around long enough to help any new mod get adjusted and also answer any questions, if you have any.

Note from the admin that is leaving: It's been a lot of fun brainstorming and working hard on events for all of you to participate in or discover later or even just witness. I have had a lot of fun, but a new chapter of my life is just around the corner.

AnS Platonic Week 2024 | Day 1 appreciation prompt | @ans-arcade

Day One: What is your most favorite platonic pairing and why?

I've been thinking about this for a long time, mainly being split between ObiTorou and ZenMitsuKiki but ultimately decided for Obi and Torou cause I don't actually go a day without not thinking about them.

Their main appeal to me is actually the uncertainty and what we don't know about them and their past/relationship rather then what we are shown in 2 chapters :') getting a glimpse into their present dynamic obviously tells use they weren't always like this. I mean, yeah Torou always used to leave the "hard work" to Obi as he mentions once but Torou literally tells us HEY OBI!! THIS IS NOT LIKE YOU!! so their past dynamic was obviously somewhat different before and it makes me !!! scream !!!

also totally obsessed with Torou just going "welp it's about time you drop these swordmen and hurry back to US"– you can say that they maybe weren't as close but they (or at least Torou) cared!! she cared enough to invite him back after 3 years!! she cared enough to offer him help when he was injured!! and Obi cared enough to entertain Torou's requests !!! They were definitely more than just colleagues and I'll die on that hill.

Lastly, something I really like about them is Torou being the one always "casually" reaching out – and Obi (in most cases) reluctantly accepting. I don't know.... it's something about the contrast of Obi's personality then and now. It makes me insane.

(that's the main reason I really wanna see Torou again cause imagine their dynamic now!!!! OBITOROU SAVE ME)
