The World Is Going Backwards And Women Are Under Threat:
Women in Afghanistan have been stripped of their rights to wear what they want, own businesses, go out on their own etc. The latest being their right to speak to eachother, or at all, in public. Their voices have been taken and they are being kidnapped and beaten if they try to defend themselves.
Violence against women has been declared a National Emergency in England and Wales. 1 in 12 women suffer cases of stalking, harassment, sexual assault and domestic violence; that's roughly 2 million victims per year.
Women in America are quickly losing the rights over their bodies, being forced to birth babies they dont want for whatever reason (rape, incest, baby trapping, financial insecurity or simply if they don't want them). Whilst others are being forced to keep a nonviable pregnancy until they're nearly dying of sepsis because doctors are unable to do so due to anti-abortion legislation spreading state to state.
Women in South Korea are being treated so deplorably by men and the government that they have retailated with the 4B movement. No marrying, dating or having sex with men over the past 4 years has caused the birth rate to decline rapidly. This year 150 elementary schools in different areas have not had any first year students.
And now in Iraq, the government is proposing to lower the age of constent from 18 to 9 years old. There will be old men marrying and raping 9 year old girls, who will not have any right to divorce these "husbands" (I think dirty fucking child rapists is a better word), nor will they or women as a whole have a right to child custody or inheritance if they are divorced.
These are dark times for women, and I fear they're going to get worse. Do what you can to protect yourselves and never give up fighting for your rights.

In light of recent news regarding the live-action adaptation, I just wanted to post these drawings I did of Alucard. One in 2015 and the other in 2019 whilst we still have fond memories of him.
Im not condeming the live-action adaptation right away because it might be good......but those chances are slim lets be real xx

I've just bought this beauty. Also I find it funny that a novel has been written based on a film, that was already based on a book. All because it needed "more gay".

Ok, is it just me or has the humour in the Re-Animator fandom shifted recently into the realms of pure, feral dumbassery. Honestly, I think it's fucking beautiful, please continue 😂 xxx

Dracula Masterpost (Spoilers)
I was inspired to make this post of all the Dracula’s I have seen after seeing this drawing by @dancinginashesandshadow . Please check them out, they do some amazing artwork!
Tumblr media
I love Dracula as I feel the character is so versatile he can be re-imagined in a number of different ways, yet you don’t lose the overall essence of the character. There’s so many versions of him it’s hard to pick one, but I’m sure we all have a favourite……
Iconic Dracula:
Max Schreck (Nosferatu, 1922). This was the first real screen adaptation of Dracula, but the production company did not have the legal rights to the story – so they changed the name of the titular character from Count Dracula to Count Orlok! (We know it’s him though)
Bela Lugosi (Dracula, 1931). This is arguably the most notable Dracula of them all. This stylised the iconic imagery of the cape, the strong Transylvanian accent and the hypnotising stare accompanied with those long claw-like fingers. When you think about Dracula – this is the main inspiration.
Christopher Lee (Horror of Dracula, 1958). Sir Christopher Lee was one of the main faces of the British film company Hammer Studios, and his interpretation of Dracula helped to catapult this British production company to fame in the United States. Thus Hammer Horror became a household name, and Lee would go on to reprise his role of Dracula for a further 7 films under Hammer studios.
Romantic Dracula:
Frank Langella (Dracula, 1979). In his own words, Dracula is “a dominant, aggressive force. He must have Miss Lucy, or he dies. He wants what he wants, and he doesn't analyse it. Dracula as a character is very erotic. ... A woman can be totally passive with Dracula: 'he made me drink; I couldn't help it.' ... Dracula seems to represent a kind of doorway to sexual abandonment not possible with a mere mortal…….to my Dracula, the bite on the neck is an orgasm”……enough said if you ask me. (Reference – DenofGeek ‘Dracula 1979: Celebrating Frank Langella’s Rock Star Count).
Gary Oldman (Bram Stoker’s Dracula, 1992). Whilst animalistic in nature with the brutal murder of Lucy Westenra and his ruthlessness against his enemies, this Dracula slowly seduces Mina Murray, the reincarnation of his former wife, with dancing, diamonds, wolves and copious amounts of absinthe and he looks stylish whilst doing so.
Rudolf Martin (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, 2000). Appearing in only one episode, ‘Buffy vs Dracula (Season 5, Episode 1) this vampire seduces the slayer, as well as many teenage girls and boys at the time I’m sure, in her bedroom amidst a swirling fog into almost giving up her humanity to him.
Comedic Dracula:
Duncan Regehr (The Monster Squad, 1987). Dracula wants to take over the world, and he must use Frankenstein’s Monster to do so. Using Lugosi’s iconic imagery, Regehr’s Dracula gives the audience plenty of laughs, even if he is fighting children.
Richard Roxburgh (Van Helsing, 2004). Dracula wants to take over the world, and he must use Frankenstein’s Monster to do so……..again. This gothic Dracula is funny, brooding and just wants to be a good father and husband – by plunging humanity into the dark ages with his unholy demon spawn.
Animalistic/Scary Dracula:
Louis Jourdan (Count Dracula, 1977). This Dracula aimed to blend evil and attractiveness in one, much like Langella, however he did so well in his task his female co-stars were both in awe and terrified of him.
Marc Warren (Dracula 2006). In a rather dull production, this Dracula saves the day and gets your heart racing with his handful of jump scares, his willingness to turn on Mina as she becomes free of his spell and a rather heated seduction of Lucy Westenra…..whilst she’s in bed next to her husband!
Edgy Dracula:
Claes Bang (BBC Dracula, 2020). This Dracula production unfortunately suffered from writers trying to be too clever and was too busy referencing iconic Dracula performances (Lee, Lugosi, Oldman) that it forgot to make a lasting iconic legacy for itself. The actor however did an amazing job, and there is one very delicious scene involving blood, nuns and a wolf.
Dominic Purcell (Blade Trinity, 2004). Dracula with a buzzcut is resurrected to save the vampire race and kills two goths along the way after finding his likeness made into a sex toy.
Gerard Butler (Dracula 2000, 2000). Dracula seeks to hunt down the descendants of Van Helsing and is revealed along the way to be Judas! Turned into a vampire as punishment for his betrayal of Jesus.
New Spin Dracula:
Jonathan Rhys Meyers (Dracula, 2013). Dracula has been brought back to life by Van Helsing to exact revenge on the Order of the Dragon, which is responsible for ruining both their lives. His cover as an American industrialist gives him ample protection as he slaughters and seduces his way through the order, whilst slowly falling in love with Mina, the reincarnation of his wife.
Luke Evans (Dracula Untold, 2014). Whilst not the first Dracula to reference the original inspiration of Vlad the Impaler, this is the first film I’ve seen that focuses on this origin story of the character in its entirety. Oh, and he punches the ground with a fist made of bats.
Now this is not to say that all these Dracula’s fit into these sections only. All of them are romantic, animalistic and offer a new interpretation than the one before. This is just how I identify these particular Dracula’s.

Absolutely no hate towards this kid, but I refuse to believe it’s just me who thought he was going to be the one to accidentally kill Pat. He was very enthusiastic and I didn’t know if it was for his love of archery or for his first taste of bloodshed.
Anyone else?

Theory Time!
Ok not really a theory, more of a discussion prompt, but hear me out....
The longer Alison and Mike live in Button House the stronger the ghosts become. It’s no secret that ghosts need human energy to become stronger, a real life example of this is when you operate an oujia board - every member of the group must have a finger or two on the planchette in order to make it easier for the ghosts to communicate - you’re giving them your energy.
Ghosts can also thrive on different types of energy such as fear and happiness (or so I’ve heard, I’m not an expert). Both of these types of energies are present within Button House and the ghosts respond to it (They’re scared of the house becoming a hotel, and become anxious when Alison and Mike are worrying about money). As you watch BBC Ghosts I believe you can see the characters becoming stronger. It seems as if Julian is able to manipulate objects with increasing ease and Robin is able to make higher wattage light bulbs flicker. I dare say Mary’s “toast” smell will become stronger as well.
What if in the coming seasons, the ghosts become so strong that they start becoming apparitions and Mike will eventually be able to see them, or at least start to hear them bickering? Thoughts

*Dan and Herbert on their way down to the morgue*
Herbert: Oh oh oh yes!
Dan: Oh God what now?
Herbert: The lighting here is perfect, quickly Dan, take a picture before somebody comes!
Dan: Why do you want a picture?
Herbert: For when my work is credited in the papers
Dan: Herbert trust me, if you end up in the papers it won’t be because of anything good
Herbert: Just shut up and take the damn picture!
Dan: Alright, fine!
Herbert:......
Dan:.......
Herbert:......
Dan: That’s the pose you want to go with?
Tumblr media
Why is this so fucking funny??? Like, the newspaper  has this glamour shot of Herbert for some reason. When was this taken?
Also, it looks like it says ‘Dean Hoothy’ under Dr. Carl Hill

I may be wrong, but would you really be smiling like this if you were about to come face to face with your abuser? I can't think of a single person who would. Would you be smiling like this if you were about to deface an innocent victim's career further and make yourself seem likeable to the press because your new PR team (which you hired especially for this defamation case) told you to?
With all the evidence against her, there is no doubt she was the abuser and she is outwardly taking delight in destroying Depp's career, a career which has brought joy to so many people, including myself, since childhood. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and this is mine.

Hope it's not just me who thinks this, but the Curator from the Dark Pictures Anthology is a very underrated character. Bitch be dramatic and sauve as fuck; laughing at your failures, speaking in riddles, showing his face when someone is about to die, THAT ENTERANCE! Hope he gets more screen time in Little Hope
