Thinking a lot lately about Jayce saying, "Believe me, if I had it my way, it'd be you rotting in Stillwater." Because what if he DID have it his way? What if Silco somehow managed to convince Jayce to take him instead of Jinx, that she wouldn't cause problems for Piltover if she wasn't working for him anymore? But his arrest is done quietly, so everyone in Zaun believes he's dead - Jinx included - and she goes crazy without him and shoots the rocket launcher anyway, which shatters the peace treaty he arranged with topside. Season 2 starts as it does in canon, with Jinx now being a wanted criminal and the rally by the Vander statue; but this time when Warwick is summoned to Stillwater, it isn't Powder that stops him in his tracks. It's Silco.

I need someone to write a fic about Ekko properly learning about Silco and Vander's backstory in the Best Timeline™ (S2ep7).

Just... idk. Benzo going "how the hell do you know about what Vander did to Silco, I never told you this", and Ekko staring at him completely dumbfounded, like "what do you mean, what Vander did to Silco?!?"

And then... Ekko having to process the fact that this man he has (rightfully) hated his whole life was really just some guy, even a somewhat decent guy, who was turned into a monster at the hand of the man he has spent his whole life idealizing as this perfect paragon of virtue and goodness.

(And then having to look back at Vander and Silco giving each other heart eyes across the Last Drop, and thinking to himself "damn, these bitches crazy")

In an Everything Is Good Arcane AU (so basically like the alt timeline but Vi, Jayce, and Viktor are all confirmed alive and happie) I am 1000% convinced that Caitlyn and Violet would still meet. How, you might ask?

Silco becomes the Ambassador to Zaun on the council (who tf else would it be in this universe) and he enjoys bringing his Proletariat Husband and his four adopted Feral Children to council events for no reason other than to make the Pilties uncomfortable.

Cassandra also obviously brings her Propertied Heir little miss Cait so therefore. The girls still meet. Love wins.

Bonus:

Heimerdinger: "What a lovely family! Did you and your husband adopt them all as babies, or hire a surrogate, or ?"

Silco: "They were all orphaned by the oppressive conditions and war crimes Piltover imposed against us."

Dear Santa,

All I want for Christmas is a Vanco fic where Silco discovers Vander's letter. Reads it and immediately seeks out Vander to scream at him about how SHIT his apology note is and does he really think that makes up for him trying kill him.

And Vander just grabs him and hugs him like a wet, scrambling cat and won't let go no matter how much Silco struggles, scratches an potentially bites him.

And then they actually talk, go through a ton of therapy and pretty much I just want a nice Good Verse AU of the world Ekko visited.

Is that too much to ask for?
