When the next few seasons of Percy Jackson come out eventually, several characters will probably get a lot of hate. The biggest ones I can see are Bianca, Zoe, and Rachel. So we as book readers should probably try to defend them as much as possible.

Hello tumblr, a question

I'm deciding to write romance for the first time (I have never even felt romantic attraction towards someone else, so I don't even have any ideas how it will feel like) and I am wondering something.

So basically my MC likes her childhood friend, but she's worried about losing their friendship so she's hiding it. Her friends and cousin are trying to set her up with this other guy, but she's not that interested (even though he is)

So...does this technically count as a love triangle or not? Because to be honest, if I write a love triangle it'll end up being too cliche.

Genuinely, what is going on?

I feel like most people have already noticed this, but things have changed a LOT over the last 5 years.

Why are so many slurs back now? And I'll hear them be used so casually, the r-slur being the most common, but I've heard the f-slur and the n-word be used by people who certainly can't use them.

People are also so comfortable making "jokes" about racism, misogyny, transphobia, and homophobia.

Go to a video or a post made by a non-white, a trans person, or anyone calling out misogyny and go to the comments, at least 1 person is going to make a "joke" that's just plain bigotry, and it'll have 10 likes.

Why does no one care about climate change anymore, did that just disappear?

I'm honestly kind of scared, and also confused about how this all happened and so suddenly. I didn't even notice this change until around a year ago, but now I can't STOP noticing.

Really? I thought I was gonna have to wait a long time for this! But a few days ago I found out season 2 is airing a second part! And based on the intro it seems like they'll even animate the house thing arc where baby you-know-who is! I watched the 3 episodes that came out. Tbh, I haven't read the manga in over a year, so my memory is a bit fuzzy (but that can be a good thing because that means I can experience peak again!) but I remember enjoying this current arc and the House arc a whole lot when I read it.

Why is this?

You know those stories (on wattpad or webtoon or anywhere ig) where the main character is this girl and she lived a sad life but then gets adopted (or this was her actual biological family that she was kidnapped/stolen/mom left/ect) by a rich man (oftentimes a mafia boss) and she now has like a bunch of older brothers. I've seen 6 brothers a bunch!

Why is this? I know this is wish fulfillment (omg a bunch of powerful attractive guys are willing to take care of me and protect me and care for me without it being romantic!) you don't have to tell me that. I'm asking...why do they only have older brothers (and if they have sisters they're always evil or mean)? And a bunch as well. I might be biased (I only have 1 sibling, a little sister not too much younger than me) but having 3-6 older brothers sounds like a nightmare to me. Maybe 2 would be fine. I'd like to have an older sister as well. And I enjoy having a younger sister, so I'll have one here too!

So here's my ideal mafia family:

2 older brothers, 1 older sister, 1 younger sister.

Here's my unhinged take that no one asked for, I just wanted to kind of rant about this and talk about how sisters are underrated.

One Piece edit

I desperately NEED someone to make a One Piece edit with the song "Mean girls" by Katseye for the amazing women in this show. There are even characters for the line "God bless the T girls and all the in-between girls". I've been thinking about this since I heard the song (and saw some other anime edits with the song) and it hasn't left my mind since. I would love to do it myself, but I can't edit anything! Posting this so someone sees and does it, because I have no other idea how to manifest this idea. Please, amazing editors of the One Piece fandom, help a girl out here.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Have you ever had a whole bunch of ideas for stories but you can't write them? Like I'll come up with a bunch of characters and their backstories in my head...and it'll stay there. Maybe I'll write down a general outline of the characters and a bit of the plot (I suck at coming up with a plot) but sometimes I don't even have the motivation to finish an OUTLINE. If I do manage to write the story, after a max of like 5 chapters I can't continue anymore. How do you deal with this? I need HELP!
