Because a black vampire hunter show, with ultra violence would be dope. Because I saw The Swarm. Because I love fantasy, gore, magic and heavy sexual themes. Because tragic romances and aesthetically pleasing rooms. Because vampires are sexy. Because women are powerful and sexy. Because I loved Anne Rice and what she did for the vampire culture. Because I love Octavia Butler for what she did for black fantasy. Because I'm an artist and I can.

Part of my upcoming Black Girl Buffy series! Because us black folx love fantasy and horror too. Growing up and now I've always loved the real of the imagined. For years, I've written fanfics...lol which I'll be posting here, no worries 😘

However, growing up there were not a lot of mythical people that looked like me on TV, in books (check out Octavia Butler btw if you like Sci fi fantasy), nor were we really in anime.

This guy coerced a woman to join him on a team participation event KNOWING he was fxxking her and her soon to be replacement, then is shocked when she puts two and two together and isn't content to be the side piece.

His excuse? He forgot. <<<<LILLY WHITE EXCUSESSSSS

Now our team may not even leave the state because two members out of the five have beef and a third member had to step down due personal reasons.

Did I also mention he was fxxking the person responsible for our hotel stay? That she is well within her rights to revoke the offer. She deserves to go scorched earth too because he lied to her face, lied to all of us and continues to think he is blameless in all this. But HE wants to clean up the scene!?!?!NXXGA PLLLLZZZZZ!!!

When they ASSUME you have an Ulta card but you only been there twice. Also can I cheer about the fact that my being an artist makes makeup sooooo much easier for to understand??? Gotta blend that shit! For so long I've never been able to wear any because of how sensitive my skin is but now that I can I been experimenting. So yeah hearing them immediately ask for my card...pretty dope feeling.

Being me makes me happy. Being weird makes me happy. I've never dressed or wanted to dress like the "girly girl" always wanted to bend the definition, pull it apart like silly string. Fashion is freedom but in some spaces for me growing up it was a prison.

Femme and Masc fashion, everything in between is made for ME. I want to be art. I want to live the art I breathe when I'm done creating it. It took nearly ten years to say I am truly proud of my work.

It took nearly a whole lifetime to feel truly comfortable not giving a fuck about social norms. Kitty ears in high-school, fake piercings, glittered cheeks and rainbow colored fabric of my present.
