The Last Samurai

In the storied realm of Edo Ball, countless warriors have emerged, showcasing their skills on the court, yet one stands alone, immortalized as The Last Samurai. This warrior's legend was forged in a momentous duel against an army of sharpshooting archers in one of the most epic shogunate battles ever witnessed.

Many had tried to claim the coveted title over the years, challenging the Last Samurai, yet he remained undefeated. He defended his shogunate's championship season after season, his prowess and determination unbroken. Yet, this battle posed a different challenge. The Samurai, as the sole standing warrior, faced five of the most skilled archers in the land.

Arrows flew around him, some striking and drawing blood, yet the samurai fought on, refusing to yield and surrender his shogunate's reign. Despite his pain, he remained strong, driving powerfully, determined to overpower the opposition and retain his champion status.

The decisive battle symbolized the essence of the samurai, encapsulating the spirit of Bushido, the warrior's code. It not only shaped the Last Samurai's enduring legacy but also paved the way for a code that future samurais would live by.

The artworks were created and used as visual research and not used for final products. Each artwork was inspired by their ingredients, Yuzu (for him) and Lotus (For Her).

The Cascading Game

Deep within the tranquil mountains, a seasoned basketball traveler discovers his sanctuary. Seated amidst the towering cliffs of a majestic gorge, he is captivated by the untamed beauty surrounding him, immersing himself in the love that basketball ignites within his soul. The waterfall that lies ahead holds a legendary status among hoopers—a cascading flow of water that eternally reshapes and evolves the rocks in its path.

Season after season, his game has undergone a profound  transformation, much like the water's unwavering force against the rocks. With unwavering dedication, he refines his skills, adapting and evolving to meet the ever-shifting demands of the game. But just as the rocks that cradle the waterfall erode over time, he too has felt the wear and tear of father time.

As the moments slip away, he absorbs the serenity of his surroundings, recognizing the importance of stillness, reflection, and self-nurturing. These essential components weave not only through the game of basketball but also through the cascading journey of life itself.
