Clever, raccoons can remember solutions to puzzles for months to years at a time! They can also figure out how to undo locks

Tactile, this might ~technically~ go under Dexterity, but a raccoon's most important sense is actually touch and their front paws are 'hyper sensitive' that become more sensitive when wet.

Hello everyone and welcome to #MIGenWeek2025!

The Mission: Impossible Gen Week is officially underway! This event is to encourage people to make gen (non-ship) fan content. All content is welcome - fanart, fanfic, video/photo edits, gifsets, playlists, etc.

To make sure there's a wide variety of prompts to choose from, please fill out this form to let me know what sorts of prompts you would like to see for this event. They can be short word prompts ("found family" "domesticity"), topic prompts ("mission gone wrong" "beach day"), AU prompts ("fantasy AU" "role reversal"), or prompts geared towards gifsets/photo edits ("best team moments" "favorite IMF team") - whatever you think you'd like to see created/make content for! You can suggest as many prompts as you like. Once I collect enough responses I'll go through them and create a prompt list based off the most popular concepts/prompts.

When the prompt list is finalized, I'll set dates for when the event will take place!

TOP GUN: MAVERICK | 2022

OKAY it has been a bajillion years but a while ago I commissioned @lyssartandstars to create a very particular piece of art from my fic Both Sides Now.

Then Lyss finished it, and my life exploded, and I have not had time to SHOW anyone until now.

It’s beautiful and I love it so, so much. Highly recommend working with Lyss if you have the chance! I’ll be dropping it into the fic proper when I have another moment!

The Captain picks the frame up and hangs the wire on the hook. It’s a picture of the Captain and Admiral, sitting on a different couch in the living room downstairs with beers. They’re in uniform—they’re in full dress blues, actually. The Admiral looks like he’s got two stars on his epaulets instead of four, though the Captain’s still a Captain.

The Admiral’s leaning into the Captain’s space, basically in his lap, in a way that is definitely not easily explained as platonic. He’s got his head tilted back so he grinning up at the Captain, who’s grinning down, wide and helpless.

“After party for his second star promotion ceremony,” the Captain says, seeing Maverick looking. “Or, well, in a manner of speaking—the actual ceremony was in DC. Was the day he got home, though.” He’s smiling at the photo himself, now, the same sort of helplessly fond look on his face.
