I don’t know how many boys follow me, but I gotta bet there’s some. I just wanna tell y’all to be careful.

Abusive girls exist and what they’re doing is seen as like “badass tough don’t take no shit” but your girl should not hit you. Ever.

She should not demand for you to hand over your phone to look through.

She should not yell at you and humiliate you either alone or in front of people.

She shouldn’t make you distance yourself from your friends or family.

She shouldn’t scratch you or twist your arms.

She should not call you names.

She shouldn’t tell you ‘she’ll kill herself if you break up’

These are just a few examples of abuse and it’s just seen as okay when girls do it and god knows I’ve fallen victim to it a few times, but you shouldn’t have to.

Never worry about not being in a relationship. If they’re worth it, they won’t hurt you.

No one has the right to hurt you.

Unpopular Opinion:

If it’s “all men,” then it’s “all women too.”

I find it inherently problematic that cis women are often in a place of privilege when they are the abuser. When male or queer victims report abuse - they’re often ignored, dismissed, and ridiculed.

As a person myself that has lived experiences from both perspectives (I’m nonbinary & intersex), I encourage everyone to stop engaging in black and white thinking. We must STOP talking and thinking in binaries.

I’ve been abused by just as many women in my life as I have men. The difference being how they abused me and how they were able to conceal it.

It is much easier for cis women to attempt to deny, attack, and reverse the roles of victim and offender (DARVO) a situation in which they were originally the abuser, because we live in a society that gives deference to cis women on the belief that they’re weaker than the opposite sex.

I’m not saying all of this lightly, I’m speaking from having personal experience with being abused by a variety of genders/sexes, it’s not only one specific gender or sex that can cause harm or be abusive.

Abuse has no set sex or gender.

NYT has been discouraging reporters from sharing photos of luigi mangione - not due to concerns for his safety but to dissuade sympathy - and refuses to post his alleged manifesto in full. and today, they published an opinion by bret stephens about how brian thompson is the "real working class hero" of this story.

reddit deleted luigi's account, which was completely innocuous and consisted mostly of him giving out advice in health subreddits. they're also deleting any post that includes his alleged manifesto and banning users for sharing it.

luigi yelled that this was "an insult to the intelligence of the american people" while he was being dragged by police and news pundits are framing it as a deranged and violent outburst. news media are picking apart details of his life to paint him as a cold-blooded and mentally ill individual. even something as innocent as playing "among us" with friends is being framed as some insidious look into an assassin's disturbed psyche, ffs.

news media are also capitalizing on luigi's supposed "bizarre and impossible to understand" politics as an obvious way to paint him as a scary individual when the guy is... a centrist, at most. whose views are similar to those of your average college-educated white guy.

multiple news media also keep harping on about how luigi comes from a rich family. an obvious attempt to break the class solidarity that's been formed around this case by continuously trying to tell us "oh he's not like you guys" while ignoring the now pretty well-documented accounts of his multiple health struggles throughout the years.

and all this, and he hasn't even been found guilty of the crime he's allegedly committed. luigi is, as of right now, still innocent until proven guilty. and the news are trying to tear him apart because they obviously fear the symbol he's becoming for low and middle class america.

Ya know the reason why so many people don’t see the ‘signs’ of suicidality?

It’s because so many people distance themselves from suicidal people when their mental health deteriorates and symptoms become too burdensome - for the very people that will claim that they didn’t see it coming.

How fucking contradictory and paradoxical is that?

What it all comes down to is a lack of empathy and support for those struggling with ideations.

People shouldn’t be able to claim they didn’t see it, when many actively pushed the person away or ignored them altogether.

Hot take, one's going to piss a lot of you off, but I am just as unsafe around white cishet women, as I am around white cishet men.

I'm an autistic, visibly disabled, visibly intersex/transgender, full flagging queer who is also fat. The only thing that I have ever had "going" for me, is the fact that I'm white. But other white people do not give a fuck and will throw you to the fucking wolves if there are enough things to outbalance your whiteness. Women are not safer than men to me. The only time that I feel safe around cishet women, is when they're women of color. I am just as likely to be assaulted, sexually or otherwise, by Men or women.

I am just as likely to be followed, conjoled, leered at, harassed, have slurs slung at me, by white women as I am by white men.

There's this weird disconnect I see from people against transandrophobia theory where they seem to think people speaking about transandrophobia are anti-feminist, even going as far as to say "You dumb boys just need feminism!" as if transandrophobia theory isn't part of feminism, the same way transmisogyny or misogynoir theory are part of feminism. Feminism has always been necessary for the liberation all trans people, yes even trans men!

I've talked with a LOT of people about transandrophobia theory, and you'll find most people talking about it are doing so through the lens of trans feminism first and foremost.
