What the heck is a Construct?

I’m sure this is a question that came across everyone who plays PGR at some point. Are they human? Cyborg? Android? And how do they work, anyway?

In this post I’ll try to compile any information that I came across related to constructs. Bear in mind that I only play the Global version, and as such I will strictly limit and update this post accordingly with the Global release. I did however, discussed some of these topics with players from other servers, so some of the content for this post might come across as a mild spoiler.

What are some headcanons about their s/o asking Dimitri/Claude into sneaking out of their dorms at night just to chat/cuddle/or simply just to be alone together then almost getting caught. :) Good luck on the blog!

goody two shoes here would flip out when you first suggested you sneak out together. “why, I—(Name)! that’s absolutely against the rules!”

you’re very convincing, however, and soon he finds himself sitting next to you under a tree in the courtyard, his head on your shoulder. 

you both talk much more frankly and honestly when you’re alone late at night. it’s not cute and cuddly like you might expect from a different couple. your talks usually consist of lamenting about past tragedy and teaching each other how to better look to the future instead of rooting in the past. 

around the seventh time you both sneak out, dimitri gets a little too cocky and thinks he can surprise you with a shiny new sword for you to use. his dumb ass tries to hand it to you and somehow fumbles so badly that it crashes to the ground with a clang that wakes up the entire monastery. you both…put your midnight talks on hold for a while after that. even manuela, who had gushed something about young love, has limits on how forgiving she can be.

claude

claude is actually the first to suggest that you two should sneak out. “come on, (Name)—don’t you think a little bit of rule bending is fun?” how can you say no?

in typical claude fashion, the REAL reason he wanted to sneak out with you isn’t anything nefarious nor promiscuous. he’s always every golden deer’s rock—hell, he’s honestly there for anyone who needs him in the monastery—but sometimes he needs one of his own. 

he doesn’t open up to you too much or anything due to his trust issues (you need to get to know him for a much longer period than

claude isn’t really one for much physical contact, not yet, so you both elect to just lay side by side in the grass in front of the golden deer classroom, staring up at the stars. 

he thinks ahead by learning guard patterns and teacher habits so you don’t get caught by anyone official who could turn you in, but he fails to consider how nosy hilda can be when she wants to. she follows him one night to finally get an answer on who’s caught her best friend’s eye, and you’re both a little red in the face when she teases you so mercilessly. however, hilda is a good friend, so she promises not to tell anyone. she makes good on that promise, to your relief.

art tips post

for all the artists following me

draw fast. it’ll look messy for a long time but you’ll improve faster than if you spend 4 hours on every drawing

if you draw in pencil and have a habit of erasing all of your mistakes, try drawing in pen or marker. i know it’s scary but it’ll help in the long run (i’m speaking from experience)

try different methods and mediums but don’t worry about mastering any of them, just have fun

if you’re not rich, buy art supplies from the dollar store, not the art store (seriously. i go through a sketchbook about once a month and i’d rather spend $4 on one than $15)

there’s no wrong way to learn. you can copy other people’s art if you want to, just don’t post it

DO NOT worry about having a consistent style. do not. just draw however you want

if you want to make original characters then do it. don’t worry about if they’re original, or a good design, or if they have an accompanying story. make sonic ocs. do it. it’s fun and it’s not hurting anyone

try not to kill your back. stand up and stretch once in a while

make a folder and save all of your favorite arts for inspiration 

draw from life. draw your dog. draw your teachers. draw your desk. draw your own hands (seriously that’s the best way to get better at drawing hands)

in general, drawing from life or a photo is better than drawing from a diagram

draw whatever you want. draw youtubers if you like youtubers. draw undertale if you like undertale. when i was a kid i drew nothing but shadow the hedgehog and horses. everyone deserves to draw what they want without being mocked, and if people start making fun of you, block them and keep drawing

don’t expect to get any notes at first. don’t let it discourage you. if you want validation go show your art to your mom or your friends or your teacher or your grandma

take breaks, but don’t give up.

Reasons to love Ryuji Sakamoto:

He is nice to the lost new student even though he knows everyone will be warning the kid off within seconds of getting to school.

Loyal as FUCK.

His Social Link can be equally easily read as platonic or romantic and either way you look at it, his growth and his realisation that he belongs with his new friend is adorable.

Constantly trying to abort the F-Bomb, even when facing the final boss.

May not always get along with the rest of the team but god save you if you upset one of them where he can catch you.

Acknowledges that he effed up when he makes mistakes or goes down the metaphorical wrong path.

Carries out the plan against the first Boss not for his own good - and considering said boss BROKE HIS FUCKING LEG - but because of all the other people who were getting hurt and intimidated by the guy.

Repeatedly puts the well-being of his teammates ahead of his own in life or death situations.

And is then super confused by them being upset and freaked out when they thought he was dead.

Makes an effort to get along with other people who Protag is friends with  when they hang out even if he doesn’t like them all that much.
