one where something happened but we as the audience don't actually get to see how it happened and only see it through the unreliable narrated flashbacks as recollected by the characters

Tired: Romantic plot where two Jedi pretend to be spouses and fall in love.

Wired: Comedic plot where two Jedi pretend to be spouses but they know about marriages mostly from holodramas and books, and since their preferences in fiction are completely different they picked up different stereotypes about married people.

I cannot relate to people who dislike female characters for “being manipulative.” She’s literally creative problem solving before your eyes. She’s literally just using her words. Maybe the other blorbos should be less pawn-like for her beautiful hands hmm

Nothing more realistic than Gideon acting like the most got-it-together "the world is my oyster thanks to the unrivalled power of my hotness and awesome" and sincerely believing in that facade, only to then turn into a wallflower the moment she's out of the Ninth and among okayish people because the only thing she knows social-wise is nonstop-hostile interraction with a cult of octogenarian nuns.
