Well folks, flowers have always been fascinating and an inspiration for me (and as some of you know: back in the days I studied floral ecology in the Uni). Flowers and organic shapes have typically been featured in Art Nouveau pieces to bring back the "nature" in big cities. Now this is my tribute: The Floral desk lamp in Art Nouveau style, inspired by "Lamprocapnos spectabilis" an entirely from scratch build sculpture made of round-braided/wet-worked/hand-sewn leather, combining the skeleton made of aluminum and wood with a touch of brass wire, Turquoise stone and organza fabric. well this is not the first, but the latest floral-leather-sculture I made. "Cthulhu in  a nutshell"

A two weeks project involving 4 artists has come to an end, or maybe just started?! Over hundred of work hours in total, combining all our analog and digital skills to create our first photo-comic! A hommage to HP Lovecraft and the mighty squid in the sky.
