“Fate had preordained that the Joestars, descendants of an ancient hero who vanquished the Calamity 10,000 years ago, would once again take up the mantle of defeating Calamity DIO. As each day passed, the threat of the advent of Calamity grew closer, and with the recent unearthing of ancient technology used to destroy the Calamity, there was still much to learn in no time at all. Each day was more precious than the last. However, fate had also determined that their efforts would be useless in the end. In the final moments of a preapocalyptic Hyrule, the strengths of the Joestars would shine as bright as the stars in the sky until the light of the very last one is nearly blotted out. In the meantime, they shared their love, fostered peace, and forged memories to break through the shroud of despair at the crux of fate.”
I did it! My next work is published and features that Breath of the Wild x JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure AU that I had been describing for a little while now. Please give it a read! It’s 2:30am where I am right now, and if I wasn’t so tired, I’d be practically vibrating with joy right now lol. There’s only one chapter posted for now, but I have ideas for at least three more chapters in the future. Posting will be infrequent because of school + work + life, but I’ll do what I can.

I haven’t posted in a while, but here’s my latest little work--an edit of Jotaro and Usagi together in various locations because I can’t stop myself from shipping these two cuties together god help me
This was made with GIMP2 with stock photos as the backdrop from a quick Google search. The images of Jotaro and Usagi were obtained from screenshots of their respective anime.
I was fooling around in GIMP 2 today for the past two hours and created these masterpieces:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I call it “Usataro holding each other in various locations,” including their bedroom (*winkwink*), a beach where they held their first marriage ceremony, an old quaint town perhaps for their honeymoon, a shady looking alleyway where he will always protect her, and a romantic garden.
The image of Jotaro also had him looking to the side, so I edited his eyes to make it look like he was looking down at Usagi, and I also edited his hand to make it seem like he’s holding her. <3 <3 <3 <3

I've been reading Jojo's Bizarre Adventure part 6 Stone Ocean recently and I have an allergy that Usagi Tsukino (sailor moon) isn't Jolyne Cujoh's mom. So! I redrew these two panels where jolyne sees a picture of her parents in this little locket amulet but I added Usagi in there.
Let's back up: I'm in love with the ship Usataro, which is Usagi Tsukino and Jotaro Kujo, from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. I headcanon that they have three children during the course of their lives together, and the first one being Jolyne Cujoh, the protag in part 6 of JoJo. So! I added in Usagi into this scene just to make this ship canon! Lol not really, but I liked the idea.
It’s pretty rough since I wanted to finish it quickly, but I like it so far. I merely drew it in No. 2 pencil on computer paper.

And here’s another picture of Star Platinum I drew today and used a painting as my reference. Here’s the reference:
Tumblr media
Source
In this picture, Star Platinum is a god in that one Jojo AU where all the stands are lesser gods. Here, Splat is sitting on a bench probably near the pantheon, contemplating and steeling himself for an upcoming fight with another god. Also, aside from his armor and little scarf, he’s not wearing his loincloth properly. It’s actually just haphazardly draped across his groin. He doesn’t mind.
For the life of me, overly muscular bodies confuse me.
This was drawn with No. 2 pencil on computer paper

So I was watching Jojo's Bizarre Adventure lately and have this au of JoJo and Cardcaptors where all of the stands are Clow Cards. Despite this being my first time drawing in a while, it...doesnt look so bad.
This is Star Platinum from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Stardust Crusaders, and Star becomes the Star Card, fittingly.
I drew this with just no 2 pencil on computer paper lol

Lookin’ pretty rad so far. Not what I usually do, but I’m interesting in creating a Pokemon layout to put recorded footage of shiny hunting. I’m not in love with this bg, but I think that it’s a good start and is somewhat what I wanted. I just gotta make sure that the screens will fit along with everything else I want in the layout.

Note
Am I allowed to use your sprites for RPG Maker?
You sure may! All I ask is that you credit me for creating them if you wish to use them as they were quite tedious to make.

I also created a new Pokemon: a ghost-type eeveelution!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I call it Spectreon! The first image is its normal form, the second is its shiny form. This is not a Pokemon with gender-based differences, just like all of the eveelutions. It may look creepy and scary, but it’s actually a pretty timid Pokemon! Trust me, it’s more afraid of you than you of it.
Here are the Pokedex entries (that I just made up):
Spectreon, the Spirit Pokemon. A timid and shy Pokemon that prefers the quiet and somber environment of cemeteries and, strangely, libraries. Legend has it that the first of its kind was willed into being by a Trainer grieving over the unexpected death of their beloved Eevee.
Spectreon, the Spirit Pokemon. The eye spots on its body have two purposes: to keep it aware of its surroundings at all times and to instill terror in its enemies. It attacks by using these spots to paralyze its prey, tearing them to shreds with its fangs and claws.
Spectreon, the Spirit Pokemon. Although virtually harmless to humans, a prevalent fear among ancient people is that this Pokemon embodied the remnants of the dead’s despair. Even today, some people report feeling an uneasy, sinking feeling when around this Pokemon.
Spectreon is a pure Ghost-type Pokemon, standing at 2′9″ and weighing about 47lbs, that evolves from Eevee and a Dusk Stone when it has high happiness with its Trainer. Its best stat is Speed, and it has very good Sp. Def and Sp. Atk. Its worst stat is Defense. It’s ability is Mummy, and its hidden ability is Cursed Body. Its main move is Spirit Shackle which it shares with Decidueye. It also frequently uses Mean Look to prevent its prey from escaping. Of course, all of this may change when i actually put it into the game, haha. I’ll be creating back sprites and overworld sprites for it eventually.
Oh boy, I used a whole bunch of Pokemon sprites to make this little one! Seriously. I used Espeon’s HGSS sprite as the base, then slowly added some parts from other Pokemon. Ears from Ponyta and Ninetails, gases mane from Ghastly, creepy red outlines from Haunter, flame tail from Charmeleon, shackles from Shedinja, third eye from Cofagrigus, orbs from Grumpig with colors from Spiritomb, and eyes from Zangoose, all from HGSS. Dear Arceus, it was something.
An yes, if Shuichi Saihara was a Pokemon, he’d be a Spectreon, I think. Regardless, he’s gonna have one on his team.

First post in ages! Here we go!
Tumblr media
I fixed up Shuichi’s battle sprite by adding the buttons on his left sleeve after realizing buttons were there in the first place on his official art. Whoops. And here is his oversprite sheet:
Tumblr media
Ahaha, he kinda looks like a journalist in New York City who lives in a cheap flat haha. Anyway, I’ve been working on these sprites for a few months now and took a break because procrastination. I used HGSS’s Red sprite (both overworld and battling) as the base sprite for Shuichi and went from there. Overall, I’m pretty please. His hat took me a little while to figure out, especially the pattering of the seams, but I think it looks fine. When testing it in RPG Maker XP, I noticed that there’s a little apparent wobble on his head when he walks down. It’s not as bad as other wobbles I’ve seen, so I left it there since I’m not sure how to correct it. I didn’t think it was too much trouble to the sprite itself.
Next for Shuichi is his VS. sprite, but before I do anything with VS. sprites, I have to update the backdrop. I also plan on creating that ghost-type eeveelution now before I forget about it entirely. And yes, he’s gonna have that eeveelution on his final team. I’m thinking...Shuichi might specialize in Ghost and Electric types??? Since the DR and SDR2 students all specialize in one type of Pokemon, I’ll have the nDRv3 crew to specialize it two and make their teams more dynamic (and tougher, haha).

MOkay, so I just finished Shuuichi Saihara’s battling sprite for the DanganronpaxPokemon video game I’m still working on.
Here’s what it looks like:
Tumblr media
And here’s him with a Rowlet because why not:
Tumblr media
And here’s him in action!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He looks amazing! I’ll have to create overworld sprites for him, but honestly, I think that sprite is a reaaaaalllly good size for the game itself. I based his sprite off of Red’s battle sprite in Pokemon Heartgold and Soulsilver. I’ll have to pick gen 4 sprites (and maaaaybe gen 5) to use as a base for the other characters. Gen 4 sprites are a little bigger than gen 3, and I think the same trend occurs in gen 5 vs gen 4 sprites. Haha, it’s a hassle, but one that is well worth it.
I actually took a new approach to designing a sprite more complex than Pokemon overworld sprites. I isolated then designed each piece of the sprite separately, like the hat then the face, arms, legs, etc, etc. And as I completed each segment’s design, I gradually pieced everything together and obtained this final result! I’m really proud of him! I figured that this method might help me try to focus on details on a smaller and slower pace so I won’t become overwhelmed by the sheer complexity of it all.
The one thing I’m not totally in love with this sprite is his hair near the ear that sticks out. It just...looks a little off, but I’m not sure how to fix. I followed the reference sprite’s hair to the exact size, but I’m thinking the oddity may be caused by my choice in color scheme. Shuuichi has rather pale skin, so the color palette of his skin was white, light grey, etc. I had to get some more flesh-inspired colors, but it’ll have to do.
I gave him three Pokemon: Dusknoir, Eevee, and Umbreon...then destroyed them all with my level 100 Aerodactyl, mwahahaha
Oh, but it does feel good to get back into pixel art.

I’ll be continuing my pixel art project in a few days, but I thought this would be a nice break.
Some pictures of Sims 4 Amami under the cut. I’m…less than satisfied over how the clothes look. The pants are too bright and need to be a duller shade of brown. Furthermore, the shirt doesn’t look like what I wanted. I saw that marigold had posted up some boxy shirts similar to what Amami really wears, but alas, the download links were broken :’C
It’s not a perfect representation of him, to be sure, but I’m kinda satisfied. I spent an inordinate amount of time on his eyes, however. I wanted them to be just the right shape with his eyelashes b/c it’s the cutest thing ever. I’ll go back and fix a few things, like the shade of his eyebrows and possibly skintone, but I think this is a good start.
Before I could save him, I had to pick an aspiration, so I picked one of the family aspirations for now. Maybe it should be something else?
It all just reminds me how tedious customization of sims really is. I made him a teen sim, btw. Any tips are welcome!

HERE, HAVE TWO!!!!!
I created overworld sprites of Mahiru and Hiyoko. Both are tested in RPG Maker XP and work just fine. Mahiru was terribly easy to create, but Hiyoko took a lot of...well, creative licensing. I spliced together two sprites of children NPCs and went from there. But the twin ponytails were especially tricky to represent accurately.
Anyway, I’ll get to another character from Super Danganronpa 2 pretty soon. I was thinking about making the growth spurt Hiyoko and schoolboy!Komaeda just for fun, but we’ll see because that is going to require another color palette.

And here’s Kazuichi! It was...interesting making him. At first, I thought I could get away with using Erika’s sprite as a reference...until I realized that her sprite has no moving animations. So, I ended up using Erika’s sprite to make Kazuichi’s head then a male NPC sprite to make the body. The colors of his jumper are meh because it’s just too similar.
I tested it, and it works fine in RPG Maker XP. I was so surprised--this is probably the first time where I didn’t have to fix anything!
I’m not sure who to make next. Nekomaru? Ibuki? Mahiru? I’ll probably pick a simpler character.

Sonia is finished and ready to train her cult classic psychic-type Pokemon! I tested her in RPG Maker XP, fixed just some minor details with her hair and bow in the turn right position (3rd line), and she flows rather smoothly.
The little hair braid she has across the top of her head was pretty confusing to draw, so I just settled for a basic cross-shaped pattern. My color palette is steadily increasing with the amount of detail put into these things.
Her lil’ bow and beautiful hair make her mad cute, don’t they?
Next...I think I promised to make Kazuichi, so I’ll start working on him.

“You have been challenged by Princess Sonia!”
So here’s what I did in my freetime--I had already complete a little battle portrait for Sonia so I created this basic BG for her. I modeled the BG after the one that Atomic Reactor on Youtube had created on one of his episodes of “How to Create a Pokemon Game” series. I’m currently created different BGs for each Danganronpa character with color schemes that match the type of Pokemon they specialize in. For Sonia, I went with a light purple theme since she handles many psychic-types. This will also be the BG for Kyouko too.
I’m currently working on the overworld sprites for Sonia. I have about three more frames to complete then I’ll upload the entire set up here after testing/fixing it.
Now I just have to figure out what specific Pokemon she’ll have...But doesn’t she looked so stoked to battle you?

I posted up Nagito recently, and now here is his finished Servant overworld sprites! It didn’t take me as long this time since I just used Nagito’s sprites as a references and worked from there.
If you look at Servant’s hair compared with DR2 and DR3 pre-despair Nagito, you’ll see that it has grown to be all white (but it still retains pink in DR3 Hope Side which is after Nagito became Servant. How weird.), so I removed the pink fade with even more gray.
I tested this out in RPG Maker, and it actually works! But on a night map, it’s hard to see the mitten on his left hand so it kind of looks like he only has one arm, haha.
Oh, and that random gray line down the back of his jacket? That’s that random zipper on the black trenchcoat he wears. It serves no practical purpose but contributes to the aesthetic.
I’m really please with how this turned out. Just for the lulz, I may make DR3 school boy Nagito too. Other than this character, I may work on Sonia’s overworld sprites next since I already made a VS. Face Sprite for her.

A coupla hours later and it’s done!
I haven’t tested it in RPG Maker yet so I have no idea if the animation will work properly. I’ll take care of that tomorrow. It looks a bit cluttered as it is because each avatar falls perfectly into the width of each frame.
This character is Nagito Komaeda from the Danganronpa series. He’s ready to enter the world of Pokemon and master all sorts of dark-types
I’ll also be creating a separate sheet for Servant, right after I test and (hopefully not) fix this sprite and its animations.
I hope this turns out well...
