Okay, so I’m not the most knowledgeable about the Star Wars universe, but I’m kinda like? There’s only so many ways the Mandalorian can end. Din ain’t going to live long enough to raise Grogu to maturity as sad as that is. And since this occurs in between the 6th and 7th movies... do you think Grogu’s going to end up in Luke’s training academy? Din leaves his little baby in “good hands” only for the child to be eventually massacred by Ben? Like... that was the real reason Anakin never interfered with Ben’s path to the dark side? Anakin was still bitter Baby Yoda escaped. 😂

Telescope/Telepathic/Telekinetic connections?

I just really need to get this off my chest, I might be an idiot. I’ve been following Starset since 2015 and when I first heard the song ‘Telescope’, I was thinking “Wow, this sounds like a stalker wrote it... in a good way.” It always gives me creepy vibes. “I will find you/ I have watched you from my telescope” it seems obsessive.

With Vessels, we got Telepathic. And that one portrays a relationship of pining after an extremely popular individual (who seems to exhibit some toxic behavior). Dustin sings “I don’t want to let you go, but I can’t stand to watch this... I don’t want to let you know, but you can read my mind...” and to me, it seems like this person knows 100% that Dustin And many others love them and this person strings them all along never confirming “just what we are”.

AND TELEKINETIC. Dude... this song portrays a relationship so toxic, this person has Dustin “by the neck.” He’s a puppet in their play. The bridge is this heartbreaking declaration of his lack of control in the situation... he’s literally screaming. “You take my control... mind, body, and soul. I fell for this lie...”

So I must propose... this is a trilogy. Obsessive stalking of a too-good-to-be-true individual turns to close contact and an uncertain relationship status... and finally, the stalker’s dream comes true and he has a relationship with this person, and the tables turn. He becomes trapped in the relationship to this predatory person.

That, or the songs all just have similar names and there’s no relationship whatsoever.

I have a weird habit of attracting bad people. Specifically, creepy male coworkers that have stalked, harassed, and even attempted assault on occasion.

This past week, my new supervisor started behaving extremely inappropriately toward me. He went so far as to suggest I marry and sleep with him as a “joke”, then called me a slur when I blew him off. I wrote a harassment statement and spoke to my manager about the situation.

I’d like to call out my manager. Why? Because he believed me, and he cared that I was hurt. He freaking cried when I started crying in his office... like I said, this happens to me a lot. I reacted a little too emotionally and let out some self deprecation, “I’m the common denominator, so surely this all must be my fault.”

My manager comforted me, and said to me, “It’s never your fault that people want to break what’s good.” Bless him. Bless. Him.

The second person I want to call out is an older, male coworker that I’m good friends with. We get along, and he has never treated me as anything but an equal. He witnessed a lot of the things my supervisor was doing, and he told me today that he wrote his own statement and spoke to our manager on my behalf. I didn’t ask him to do that, but he knew I was being disrespected and endangered, and he said something. He told me today, “I can’t say I’ve ever experienced what you’re going through, and I can’t say I understand, but I’ll be damned if you have to do this alone.”

There are very good, very kind people in the world. I just want to encourage anyone who’s been harassed, or witnessed harassment... say something. There are people who will care and who will listen. There are people who will support you. You’re worth being respected, and it’s never your fault that some people just want to break what’s good. Don’t let them break you.
