Lessons.

My Fanfic drabble of Bastards Vs Zombies, it's not my first fanfic but it has been a while since I posted anything lol, enjoy!

I sat at the dining table- well it was more of a meeting table as Mahatma and I seemed to be the only people who ate.

I move my gaze to the curly haired brunette as he takes notes, his focus much better than the demon sitting next to me, Albus sits with his elbows on the table as he scribbles incoherent nonsense into his notebook.

It was my idea to gift each of my teammates a notebook for personal use, although Mahatma tried to give it back, my charmingly cheeky grin sold him as I told- signed that he can take notes with it.

Albus was skeptical but as I explained to him that he didn't need it for notes but to draw, I peeked over his arm and saw a drawing of three people, A beautiful woman, a young girl and a man who looked like Devlin.

I smile but then I hear my name called, I snap my gaze to Hipswich as a blush rises upon my cheeks, "Partner, did you catch what I was saying?" Hipswich asks, his tone knowing yet soft as I hear Albus chuckle next to me adding to my red face.

"Swichy, I think the Welp was too busy looking at something else, I wouldn't blame him though, I wasn't listening either," Albus says teasing me as he laughs, I hear Hipswich sigh as I send a small glare at Albus, my face hot with embarrassment.

I raise my hands to sign but Mahatma speaks up before I can, "I don't think your partner understood what you were saying Hipswich, Maya has had a lot of crazy things happen to it and it can be a lot for someone to digest quickly," Mahatma says as I smile and nod at Hipswich, grinning as I try to look as innocent as possible.

“Yeah, you’re right Doc, sorry about that partner, what is the last thing you remember so I can start from there,” Hipswich says as guilt clouds my heart for a second as I move my hands.

‘It’s okay, I remember you talking about the West Watch Rangers, then I lost it’ I sign as I give him a closed smile, Hipswich nods before he goes back to the part of my lesson. I scoot to the edge of my seat as I pick up my pen, ready to focus.
