he honestly didn't know for how long he'd been pacing around the small lab they so kindly let him use while he was there—though jeremy suspected that this was a desperate attempt of the other agents to try to leave him somewhere he'd be distracted rather than to have him walking around the agency, asking too many questions to everyone he could find, until she showed up.

ever since he was just a kid, jeremy had always had a restless nature, so it wasn't uncommon to see him pacing back and forth, fiddling with something in his hands and such when he was nervous. or when he was trying to solve a problem or something like that. but of course she had no way of knowing that yet.

“sorry.” he finally stopped, pulling a chair to sit down, and even though he was sitting now, his eyes continued to follow the older one, anxiously. “walking helps me think. ” he comments, not knowing if that was really true or just something he became convinced of over time. “better now ?”

“right—” he sighed, placing both hands on his hips as he looked around, wondering what to do next. he wanted kara's help, because she might not be his mother in this universe, but that didn't make him trust her any less. yeah, he’d heard of one or two earths where she was a villain but that certainly didn't seem to be the case here. just seeing her version of that universe would put him at ease a little.

and as much as jeremy also wanted to run to ask his mother lena for help, he knew that she’d be even more tricky to reach, not to mention that he could end up risking meeting the lex of that dimension, and that was something he certainly didn't want happening. so maybe he should stick with a more immediate option.

“are you part of the justice league of this universe ?” he asked suddenly, looking again at the woman in front of him. “member or not, at least it sounds like you know them, right ? and i assume that in this team you guys also have a flash ? i hope the answer is yes because then you probably won’t find me too crazy if i bring up the multiverse to this talk ? becuase that’s why i need supergirl’s help. that’s the kind of mess i’m into.”

"I get it, but there's protocols involved, I can't just waltz you into the Hall of Justice. They would kill me." She wasn't afraid of Bruce or Clark, but her mother. Zoe may be an adult, but Diana was still her mother no matter how old she got. Diana would be so mad if Zoe broke the rules.

the urge to slap himself in the face was strong, because yeah, he should had predicted that. for someone so smart, he could be really dumb sometimes, as he was often told. “it’s not like—i don’t want to—” he forced himself to stop, took a deep breath and tried to start all over again.

“look, this is a little bit more complicated than that.” how would he explain his situation ?  “i’m not a fan i just really need her help.” he hoped his tone was serious enough to convince her, or at least make her consider the idea.

his mothers would definitely kill him. but in order for them to kill him, he’d have to come back to his own universe and that’s why jeremy decided to seek help instead of trying to do everything on his own like he was used to. he’d been to national city but found nothing there, so he decided to seek for other active heroes around in other places, and the first one he found was this woman. “hey—i’ve seen you working with Wonder Woman earlier ? promise i don't want an autograph or anything like that. I was just hoping you could tell me where to find supergirl ? or maybe superwoman ?” @akryptonianluthor

Zoe was starting to get used to people recognizing her for her work with The League. But it was still strange. Her entire life, Zoe had tried to attract as little attention as possible.
