okay i'm not a darkshipper obviously when i stated multiple times but one question if a kid who somehow travels back in time and meets their mom or dad in that timeline who's the same age as them and the dad or mom finds the kid cute and didn't know that kid was their future daughter or son would that count as a darkship?

and the reason i said does it count because the kid is currently in the timeline where they don't exist yet and their parents are still younger and it's not in the future later on when the boy or girl is father or mother to kid who they were just talking to you in their timelines.

No actually, you can't reclaim the R-slur if you're autistic or have ADHD or neurodivergent. That's never what the original use of the R-slur was for. And you ESPECIALLY can't reclaim *any* slurs if you're just using them as negative slurs against other marginalised people?? That's just extremely ableist and bigoted.

Okay, look. I'm a lesbian. I call myself a dyke. I'll call my bi and lesbian friends dykes if I already know they are okay with the word dyke. Because it's not being used negatively or cruelly as a slur. It's used in a neutral/affectionate way. Same way gay men have reclaimed the F-slur and use it in reference to themselves. We don't call other people dykes or f*gs as a way to attack or belittle them. That's not what reclaiming means.

The R-slur was only ever used as a term for SEVERE mental and intellectual disabilities. It was used for Downs Syndrome, Fragile X Syndrome, and Fetal Alcohol Syndrome. It was never used in relation to Autism, ADHD, or other neurodivergent spectrum disorders. You CANNOT reclaim the R-slur if you are autistic or neurodivergent, that word never belonged to you in the first place. It's not yours to reclaim, it's DEFINITELY not yours to use as a pejorative slur against other people.

I don't know who gave you the information that "any neurodivergent person can use the R-slur" but they are either completely wrong or they were just literally lying to you.

Don't use it. It's outrageously ableist, bigoted, and offensive. ESPECIALLY don't ever use it to "call people r*t*rds if they're acting r*t*rded" because you are literally just using it as a slur against other people.

I'm not saying any of this to be mean, because it seems like you were lied to or simply misinformed. I'm saying this because it's important for you to know, and also so that you stop spreading misinformation that encourages other people to say it.
