A new fave place! I just experienced it for the first time this weekend. Their staff is great, their breads are not only gorgeous, but so tasty, & their macrons will knock you off your feet! Their brunch/lunch menu is small, but quality! I'm a fan!

I bought three frames from the thrift store for under $1 each, painted them black, & framed French postcards I got at a flee market ($1 each) with some bright matting (also $1 each at a friend's pre-rummage sale). It was less than a $6 project!

I was the plus 1 to a gorgeous barn wedding just outside of Madison, WI. They had a tasty vegan menu & elegant details. I love that people are no longer limiting dessert to just cake! The weather was amazing, simply beautiful venue, & it ended with a great party! So glad I got to go!

If you're in MKE, don't miss Bastille Days! It's a free street fair in & around Cathedral Square Park. Great French food, quirky vendors, drink deals, & super entertainment. Go...until Sunday, then it's over.

A funny convo lead to this bowling team name. I got the shirts at Value Village, masks at Party City (adorned them with marker), & made berets out of paper plates. We didn't make any noise during the game!

Newaukee hosted a networking event at The Miller Time Horse Stables. The FREE beer tasting had sooo many delicious choices & they didn't even have too jars out! There was also a lively band. Not a penny was paid for my Wednesday night out. Be sure to keep an eye out for Newaukee events!

I went to Tosa's Ruby Tap last night & loved it! You get a little card & a glass for wine...you go up to the dispensers & choose the wine & how much you would like. The little card records what you get. We also ordered a cheese plate & truffle popcorn...fantastic & very reasonably priced! Go.

Such a great Brazilian place in Vegas...there's also one in Chicago! The best salad bar ever, full of things like prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, sun dried tomatoes, a guacamole dressing, & so much more. Refillable cheesy bread puffs, polenta, & caramelized bananas on your table...yum! When you flip your tag to the green side, they keep coming over with multiple meat selections until your plate is happy. Turn it over to red when you need a break & go back to green for more. Really worth the money!!

In Vegas, baby!! Deal of the day...well, last night: made friends with some dancer girls at the Rio & they told me how to get a bracelet to the rooftop deck party for free...also got a free drink thrown in! Paid $15 (including tip) for one other drink...serious cocktails. That's all for the evening! Score!

Derby Saturday was a hit!! We visited Sprecher Brewery for a tour, Iron Horse, a few places in the Third Ward, La Fuente, & ended at Steny's. The Derby brought out Milwaukee's fanciest! I wish it was every weekend.

I found this vintage garden reel at the Randolph Street Market in Chicago & immediately thought, "wine rack". I got a display stand for a few dollars at Joanne Fabrics to stabilize it, filled it with wine, & there you have it! It turned out super cool!
