Warnings: SMUT of the femslash variety, vague smut-ery with lack of blatantly sexual terms for things/body parts/etc., mild pain kinks (I think), a smattering of fluff, forced “Hamilton” lyric references, and the ending sucks.

Author’s Note: I’ve never written shit like this in my LIFE (except for those couple of mildly spicy Eliza/Reader instances, but even then, barely). Notes: So I only started writing fics because I read @adotblog‘s and thought they were amazing. Now I get to collaborate with her, and I AM VERY EXCITED ABOUT IT. This is exceptionally long, because we are both unstoppable.

You practically throw yourself into your building, shaking snow from your coat and trying to stamp warmth into your feet. You take off your gloves as you head around the corner to check your mail.

“Hey Lin.”, you say as you approach the mail boxes. “Hi, Y/N, how are you?”, Lin asks with a smile. Good lord he’s so handsome, with his scruffy man bun and his Hamilton hoodie. It still freaks you out that a semi-famous person lives across the hall. And speaks to you.

“How was opening night? I saw the reviews, you must be thrilled,” you say as you fight with your mailbox key. “It was…indescribable,” he says with a far-off smile. “What, for a wordsmith like you?!”, you tease. He grins. “I’ll see you later, Y/N,” he says as he heads for the door. “Have a good show!”

You pull your door shut, staring at the tiled floor of the hallway and exhaling forcefully. You can feel a headache starting to build. “Ooh, that’s not a happy sigh”, Lin says. You look up to see him about to go into his apartment, ever-present coffee cup in his hand. “I’m having work done in the bathroom. Started as a leaky shower head and now it’s a whole thing. Apparently.”, you say wearily. “Yikes. Well if you need anything…”, Lin trails off as a series of loud hammering noises come from your apartment. He cringes and you close your eyes as you say “My neighbours are going to love me.”. Lin smiles and takes his leave.

The characters played by Leslie Odom Jr. and Daisy Ridley in Agatha Christie’s “Murder on the Orient Express” were paired up romantically in the book, and there were hints in the trailers that the same would be true of the film. With that in mind, pairing up their two more popular characters would not fucking leave my fucking mind. And if no one else was gonna write them together, I would.

(The Last Jedi has not been released yet where I am. There be no spoilers here. I know nothing of Rey’s past. All that shit be kept vague.)

A little drabble that came out of a conversation with @musicalmoriarty today. I may have slipped in something for @yourrenegadekitty too...

So cheesy and fluffy. Little bit of smut.

“So, it’s our third date tonight.”, Lin says as you smile against your phone. “Yes, it is. I’m looking forward to it.”, you reply. “Actually I wondered if we could change it.”, he says a little nervously. You can’t help but be disappointed-things have been going so well and you were looking forward to dinner. “Oh. Umm, ok.”, you say quietly. “Yeah I just wondered if maybe I could come over to your place instead? I just feel like staying in tonight.”, he says. “Oh! Yeah sure! God I thought you were cancelling on me, you had me a little worried!”, you laugh. “Definitely not, been thinking about you all morning.”, he replies-and you can *hear* the wicked grin on his face.

Lin arrives about an hour later, wrapped up warm in a scarf and THAT sweater under his coat. He has wine in one hand and an enormous bar of chocolate in the other. “Fucking PERFECT”, you say as you let him in. When you’ve hung up his coat and scarf, you lead him to the kitchen and reach up into a cabinet to grab two glasses for the wine.

When you turn around, Lin is looking you up and down. You look down at your jeans and sweater “What?”, you ask. “Nothing, just you look cute”, he says and leans forward to kiss you. It’s a sweet kiss but impossible to sustain with both of you having your hands full of very breakable things. You pull apart, laughing and shrugging before you head through to your bedroom. Netflix is already loaded up on the tv and you both settle cross-legged on the bed and fire up episode one of season one of the West Wing.

By the time the third episode starts, Lin is lying with his head in your lap. You play absent-mindlessly with his hair as you watch. The wine has long gone but neither of you wants to move to get more.

“Where’s the remote? Of course I’m still watching, Netflix! Stop judging me!”, you say as you lift pillows. “Maybe I hid it.”, says Lin with a mischievous grin on his face. “Why would you do that?”, you ask, confused. Lin moves closer. “So that you’ll stop drooling over Rob Lowe”, he says, his lips inches from yours “and kiss me.”. You shake your head. “I mean you SHOULD be jealous of Rob Lowe. But baby, come on…”, you say as you link your arms around his neck. “...I’m never gonna get a guy like him, I’ll have to settle for you.”. You dissolve into giggles at the outraged look on his face.

Lin flops down on the bed dramatically. “Second place to Sam Seaborn!”, he wails. You lay beside him. “Under Sam Seaborn is a great place to be.”, you joke as you kiss him. He growls against your mouth. You whisper “Then of course there’s Josh…”. “Y/N…”. “Gimme the remote and I’ll stop.”, you grin.

He hands it over and you select the next episode. You lay your head down and Lin pulls you into a spooning position, your body pressed against his. His arm wraps around your waist as the credits roll.

As you watch, his hand moves over yours and you intertwine your fingers. You rub your thumb over his knuckles. Later he moves your hair behind your ear as he readjusts his position. As the end credits roll you feel his grip on you tighten. His hand moves to your hip and holds you tightly as his lips find your neck.

A quiet moan escapes your lips as his mouth moves against your neck and shoulder. You breathe his name when he presses his groin against your ass.

You turn round in his arms and see his eyes dark, his mouth slightly open. He reaches out to run his thumb over your bottom lip as he stares at your mouth. Then his hand is in your hair and pulling your mouth to his. His kiss is soft but urgent, full of care but driven by lust. When his tongue meets yours it’s like a static shock.

Goodness knows how long you kiss for, it feels so natural and he’s just amazing. Eventually it gets lazy and languorous and sweet . You break apart and instantly fall into a cuddle position, your head on Lin’s shoulder and his arm around you. You chat and joke, tickle and touch.

You stay this way for a while but eventually what starts as Lin tracing loose circles on your arm leads to him turning to lie face to face. Then the ghosting touches turn to caresses. A brush here and there turns to him cupping your breast.

A flick of his thumb over your nipple makes you gasp.

The squeeze of your ass cheek makes you moan.

The fingers he slides inside you make you squeal his name.

The steady circles on your clit make you squirm and arch and cry out until you’re soaked and breathless and sated.

You lie in his arms, breathing still laboured as he jokes “Disappointed that we didn’t go for that dinner?”. “Are you kidding me? We aren’t leaving this bed ever.”, you reply.
