A thumb rule about sunscreen is you have to re-apply it every 2 to 3 hours, and this is very important, no matter if you are indoors or outdoors you need to use good mineral sunscreen.
Pigmentation correction cream:
Pigmentation correction cream is a cream which is cleverly formulated for effective areas. A cream containing kojic acid is anti- pigmentation pharmaceutical grade potency treatment. A cream containing 2% kojic acid which lightens pigmentations, dark spots and acne scars by helping repair the damaged skin cells, 1% niacinamide and 0.5% glycolic acid to further prevent the occurrence of pigmentation.
We recommend pigmentation correction cream to use in the nighttime routine 3 times a week.
Vitamin C serum:
This is another depigmenting ingredient, a product that helps with pigmentation, dark spots, and uneven skin tones beautifully are Vitamin C serum.
If you are a beginner or if you are someone who has experience with skin care products can use the product very well.
Moisturizer:

Monsoon skincare routine: Best monsoon skincare for oily skin 2022.
The monsoon can really have your skin behave unpredictably. Sometimes you feel very oily skin, which can lead to breakouts and acne, and many other times you feel dehydrated and stretched, which is nothing but a dry skin.
To avoid such behaviour of your skin, you need to follow separate skincare during monsoons.
Monsoon Skincare routine:
Cleanser:
Opt for a very gentle cleanser that’s a face wash, because of the rain and humidity a lot of bacteria tend to pile up on our skin and the one I really like is Himalaya purifying neem face wash.
Its gentle cleanser prevents breakouts and acne, not just that it is super affordable.Take a liberal amount of Himalaya face wash and start lathering it. It’s a very mild and gentle cleanser.
A very important tip when you are using a facial cleanser, whether it's morning or evening, massage gently with your fingers for 60 seconds. It keeps your pores clean and hence keeps all the bacteria and acne at bay.
Mask:
Cleaning your pores is essential during monsoons, as it tends to clog your pores very easily, and for that you need to use a clay-based mask at least twice a week. The one that I have for you is from Dot and key which is paraben free, cruelty free brand and this is a french green clay mask has tamanu oil, neem oil which will prevent acne not just that, this will take care of excess sebum on your face as well. If you have an oily and acne porn skin, then this is a boon for your skin.
It comes with a spatula, just dig in and apply a good even layer of this face mask. Dot and key mask also have eucalyptus oil on it which is very good for soothing your skin and it will take care of any inflammation that you may have on your skin.
Toner:
Now that we have a clean canvas, it’s time that we stop layering our hydration and there’s nothing better than putting a toner first because that will maintain the PH of your skin and bring back the first layer of hydration.
The one thing I absolutely aware by is a good rose water and I recommend you a product of karma ayurveda. This is one of my favorites. Now, rose water is not just gentle and calming on the skin, it’s also Anti-inflammatory and will prevent acne. The easiest thing to put on your face directly after you have cleansed your face.
Serum:
Whatever the season may be, it’s very important to go a head and use a good serum that’s suitable for your skin. In monsoon in particular you have to make sure there’s something that’s very lightweight and does not clog your pores.
I have a perfect one for you. That’s M caffeine green tea serum. This not just has green tea but also Vitamin C and hyaluronic acid in it. Green tea is rich in antioxidants. It’s anti-inflammatory and reduces dark spots, caffeine soothes and tones skin. Vitamin C helps reverse sun damage and is anti ageing and it also lightens hyperpigmentation. And hyaluronic acid will hydrate your skin.
Moisturiser:
In the monsoon, we need a very lightweight moisturiser that should not clog your pores. I prefer something always with hyaluronic acid because it hydrates very well. And what better moisturiser than ponds super light gel.
This also has vitamin E in it which makes a such a perfect moisturiser from monsoon specific. It’s lightweight on skin and the hyaluronic acid hydrates the skin very well.
Sunscreen:
This is the most important step in any skin care routine that all of us tends to forget this is a good sunscreen. It’s irrespective whether you are indoor or outdoor you have to use something which is atleast SPF 30+. I have something which has UVA and UVB filter and something that has SPF 40 and is going to suit so many skin types.
This one from La shield does such a beautiful job. This is dermatologically approved and tested. Using a sunscreen is very important because it will prevent premature ageing, wrinkles and pigmentation and whether there is a overcast and the sun may hide but UV rays are always present and can harm your skin.
