I spent the other day explaining to my daughter the importance of talking to and singing with and generally letting sounds be heard by the baby in my tummy. So, we’ve spent a bunch more time hanging out and I’ve been playing my guitar and singing. I’ve known this song for a while. but my daughter is picking up on it too since I sing it a lot. Thinking of maybe posting the duet of her and I singing.

Prom

I remember when I ended up going back to high school and had prom every one thought I was fucked up because I bought my daughter a less-sexy version of my prom dress to take cute prom pics with me. We had a great time. And that’s to my is a really important thing about being a teen mom.

It's Official

I will be welcoming a daughter into this world! Another girl in the family! I am so excited and my doctor said everything is going well even though I'm already making milk which is kinda early. I know not many people care but I'm v happy to introduce a new beautiful soul into this world!

i see so many girls and there’s so many different types of pretty… there’s like the honey, green tea pretty girls that like sitting outside and soaking up the sun…. the dark pretty with black eye make up and wild hair and piercings… the bad bitch pretty with killer highlight and striking style….. the lazy pretty girls with snapbacks and sneakers…. the bookish girls with glasses and sweaters that make your heart melt…. the soft Angel pretty girls who just look as sweet as a peach with soulful eyes…. the cute girls with chubby cheeks and messy hair and it seems like warmth emits from them… girls are so fucking beautiful

My apartment is haunted and things constantly shift or move or fly off of walls. One day in the bedroom, all the power shut off then all the tvs turned on at the exact same time to the exact same channel. My daughter swears they talk to her and sing with her and play with her. Today, we were in the kitchen making monkey bread when all of the drawers,cabinets, and doors in the house opened all at once. I freaked out and my daughter literally just said “WELL GHOSTS HAVE TO LIVE SOMEWHERE TOO MOM, OKAY?” And, I guess she’s right. We place kindness above all so I’m going to have to take her word for it. I am a bit afraid though

Parenting Tip Of The Day

A lot of times children are overwhelmed by new settings. This does not mean they are naughty though. If you find that you're out and your child is melting down, try taking them away from the situation and then letting them relax. The key is to get face level with them and speak WITH them not at them. Ask them what is too much for them to handle and see if you guys can work it out together. This happens to me a lot in the mall when I take my daughter shopping for clothes. The best option for her is to turn it into a game or at least something goal oriented. If your kid feels validated, they're more likely to relax. They need to know their parent is right there with them. This will also minimalize on tantrums and you yelling. Yelling should be prohibited anyways.

Posted on my main but I want to put it here to. I went to the doctor today annnddd… IM PREGNANT. Sure, being a single mom is hard, but I’m more than happy to do it all over again. According to the doc I’m about 4-5 months in and within a few weeks, I’ll know if there’s going to be a barbie or ken coming to the doll house! My family is a blessing and I’m so happy our duo is becoming a trio!

I obviously had to get rid of my boa when I had my child. But it turns out she actually showed in interest in exotic pets. This is our new lil baby added into the doll house. We’re debating on either Hercules or Spaghetti for a name? Who knows?

Life’s Little Things

So today, since it’s the last day of my darling’s spring break, I decided that it might be fun to do something I’ve never done in my entire life. I took my daughter to every single mini golf course in our teeny little state. I figured that the beach would be boring since we have a beach house. So half way through, i noticed something. First of all, my daughter dresses and acts exactly like her mommy. Second of all, she is a better golfer than me lmao. I could barely keep myself form crying while I watched her little face light up at hole in ones and see her little happy dance. There’s not many things in this world that make me happy, but my daughter is a light in the dark.

Big Smiles

I had a court date earlier and it didn’t go well. I took a moment to myself in my bedroom to cry. My daughter came in wearing a leather jacket and sunglasses while sipping a juice box and said “What’s the matter toots?”. Oh my gosh how can I ever be sad again with this ray of sunshine in my life

Reasons that being a little makes me a better parent

As not many of you know, I am the mother of one beautiful girl. She is my pride and joy but a lot of people seem to think that me being such a full time little could effect my parenting. And you’re right. It does. I’m probably a better parent than you.

🎀   I know the importance of stuffies and making sure they’re well cared for

🎀   We have the same fashion sense. I will never stick my baby in something I wouldn’t wear

🎀   I will never be angry when she wants to watch the same movie 30 times in  a row, cause honestly, I want to watch it too

🎀   We can wear tiaras and tutus and un matched socks while we dance around the house all day

🎀    I will always want to play and have tea parties

🎀   I understand that some days littles and kids just can’t be big enough to go out. We can have our own mental health days where we stay in bed and eat easy mac all day

🎀   Mommy knows that easy mac is an art form

🎀   We have almost the same mindset, we can communicate in ways most children and parents cant

🎀   I know how it feels to be little and feel like you’re not validated. So I will always do my best to encourage independence in the ways a little one needs

🎀   Mommy won’t ever be mad if you have a glitter spill cause I probably did the same thing the week before (the only difference being I can reach the paper towels)

🎀   Coloring books will always be available with the big pack of crayons to encourage creativity.

🎀   We can go out to the mall or a restaurant in pjs or princess dressed for all I care. 

🎀   Days at the park are guaranteed at least once a week- weather permitted of course.

🎀   I sleep at the same time so there is no reason that I will be “too tired” to play or hang out first thing in the morning.

🎀   Mommy loves puppies and kitties too, so we will always have pets or take field trips to pet stores and shelters (probably why we have four dogs now)

🎀   Mommy knows its the little things (pun intended) that matter so we will now and always place importance on things like feeding the birds and volunteering and planting flowers

🎀   I know being little or young makes you curious. I won’t ever be mad at you for using all my eyeliner to paint on the walls or cover yourself in my fake tan. (I probably tried it a few times myself)

🎀   Mommy knows that hugs, laughs, and special moments are what nurture and help a little one feel like everything is okay. Nothing in the world will come before you and your beautiful developing mind

Parenthood Is

Parenthood is when your toddler gets dressed up just like mommy, does her hair and make up to the best of her ability, then sits on the floor and cries for an hour because she doesn’t want to go out. Even though you’ve told her nine times that you aren’t going out anyways
