Fun little update! My father (57) has recently left my family for a 23 y/o Ecuadorian woman he met online while still being married to my mom.

My dad and I have a very similar sense of humor and my mom thinks we’re both stupid, which often leads to conversations like this

Me: If you were in the zombie apocalypse where would you go?

Dad: I would join the zombies.

Me: like, you would become a zombie, or you would help the zombies?

Dad: I would pretend to be a zombie so the zombies would leave me alone.

Me: I think zombies just attack anything that moves, I don’t think they have the intelligence to understand if it’s a zombie or not.

Mom: why do I put up with this?

I can’t be the only one who doesn’t like those jokes where a guy where’s something traditionally feminine, and a second person says something along the lines of “I can’t believe you’re wearing that… THAT shirt with THAT skirt?”

It just runs me the wrong way. Like it’s based on the idea that a man wearing traditionally feminine clothes could be wrong. The entire set up of the joke is that the second person COULD say something homophobic, and then they don’t say something homophobic. Idk. I’m not the only one, right?
