“The year is 2035. Most humans and magical groups live peacefully amongst each other in a functioning and progressive society. The word magic is integrated into daily life, and the world is better for it.

Despite all of the gains, there are still fringe groups of Humans who continue to riot against the rights various magical groups. Some of these groups even resorting to violence when their calls for change are not heard. On the other end of the spectrum, some pro-magic groups have sprung up, causing the clashing and dangerous protests to grow in almost every city around the country.

In the large booming city of Valhalla, it seems as though something strange is going on. There have been cases at the Institute of the Arcane of students losing their magic all together, seeming lost and helpless when they are found with no memory of what has taken place. Many of those with some form of magic in their veins have been disappearing without a trace. The groups have been blaming one another for the disappearances, but is everything as it seems? Is it the act of one or many?

Is something darker brewing just below the surface of Valhalla?”

Today we here at Acturian Academy would like to announce that we are officially going on hiatus in order to properly rework our academy. We have learned so much through this experience, and we are so thankful for everyone who has believed in the true message of this academy from the beginning. Our choice to go on hiatus is an extremely difficult one, and it comes after several conversations with staff as well as students about the issues we have faced over the past several months. We have built an extremely large community, one which we are so proud of, and one which we hope has helped you as magic practitioners even a small amount. This large community was also one of our downfalls, as we outgrew the number of people behind the scenes, and this was a large source of stress for our mentors and for staff. Some mentors unfortunately left, or did not update their classes due to personal reasons, and we would like to apologize for the lack of mentor communication on these aspects.

Thank you so much for your understanding, we will give updates on further plans soon!

Would you enjoy working with an engaged and dedicated team of mentors and magic practitioners? Then you should consider becoming a mentor with Acturian Academy!

What is Acturian Academy?

Acturian Academy is an online witchcraft and magic academy dedicated to supplying free guidance and information on a wide variety of occult and magical topics. We are not affiliated with any religion or form of practice and accept students and mentors from all paths and belief systems. Our semesters last 10 weeks at a time and are hosted on Google Classroom. Our next semester will begin in early February. We have a community set up on Discord as well to allow students, staff, and faculty to engage with and learn from one another. 

Requirements for Mentors

Prospective Mentors should have two or more years experience in their field of study, be 16 years of age or older, and must undergo training and pass with an 80% or higher. Once a mentor has signed on with Acturian Academy, the contract being signed holds them to a standard of teaching which states that they must have a semester or more of their class ready before their class will be listed as available to take.

Areas of Interest

We are currently looking for mentors to teach classes in the areas of

     -Self Love Witchcraft
      -Energy Work      
-Weather Witchcraft
      -Demonology
      -Glamours/Glamour Magic
      -Death Magic/Death Witchcraft/Ancestral Magic
      -Grimoire Design/BoS Design 
     -Spoonie Witchcraft
      -Sea Magic 
     -Sex Magic (18+ applicants only please) 
While these are our most sought after needs at the moment, we also welcome you to teach your interests! Mentors may teach multiple classes at once as well, as long as they can complete lessons on time.

Google Classroom Issues

Hello everyone! This is am announcement for students who dont have all of their Google classrooms. We are having issues with the codes and gaining access. We realize some of you only have a few if your classes, but as of right now we arent able to add anyone in. We ask for your patience while we work through the issue.
