A/N: This is still my absolute favorite scene in all of Graceland and probably my all time favorite whump scene. It's just so damn good. But this was the hardest scene I've ever subtitled i swear to god. There are so many people talking all at once and I'm fairly sure I got some of them wrong but I don't even care anymore. And because these subtitles are crazy here's a quick guide. White is Johnny, yellow is Briggs, teal is Charlie, red is Paige, and green is Jakes.

And he does this because of how immensely he respects each and every one of her choices. At the end of the day, true love is about bringing out the best in someone. It’s chasing away the darkness, calming the storms within, and reminding them of all the good they’re forgetting because they aren’t at the right state of mind. And Killian reminds her of the fact that while her parents have made a terrible mistake, they’ve always had her best interest at heart. He reminds her of the fact that even though they lied to protect her, they did it because they were ashamed of their actions.” |x|
