this lived in my high-school e-mail chatrooms as a gif. It was often used as a reply for when we'd be sarcastically thrilled about something. such as: [time for a GROUP PROJECT!] <.gif> For Context: This was after they figured out how to block Skype from being downloaded to our laptops. They had fully integrated Google and dropped sitewide Microsoft Word, which many of us absolutely HATED bc it lacked all the fun customization options. The UPSIDE was that for the first time ever, an e-mail service was accessible through the school's firewall. Before that point, NO student laptop could access ANY e-mail service. SO that meant it was now possible for a gaggle of web surfers to show off their personal gif libraries. Common habits included: -Politely deleting some or all of the duplicate Reply tags. as in turning this ->RE:((RE:(RE:Title))) into this -> Re:Title. -Resizing your gif so it wasn't bigger than the window -Reserving the 'rarest' highly-specific gifs to use in that once-in-a-million chance where it could be perfectly in context. (like the jpgs from the Simpsons that appear, without fail, on my Dash) The pure euphoria from seeing [WHERE DID YOU FIND THAT???] as an immediate reply. Just-*chef's kiss*

First of all, how did you get a rebloggable form of a community post? 🤔 havnt been able to figure that one out yet.

Secondly, I had no idea those exsisted! I'm newly disabled (if thats even a term), so I'm not farmiliar with how best to find equipment quite yet. Thank you so much for putting these on my radar, friend! I appreciate shared knowledge very very much!!

Does anyone have experience or suggestions for attaching a satchel or something to store small items onto a cane?

Adhd + disability means a lot of energy-sucking trips around the house for things I've misplaced. Can't garuntee that my clothes will always have pockets, so I want to store small things like my headphones + ear plugs.

I've got a leather pouch I can hang off the handle, but ideally I'd like to be able to secure it so it can't slide off. Wish I could like idk, weld a ring to it so it could clip on.

yikes pre-transition me was rough. I still think this stage was important and worth sharing, so have some dysphoric overthink doodles. the bizarre giraffe occupying the couch was me in my depression snuggie, playing wii sports, right after hearing a knock at our apartment door and realizing I'd have to answer it looking like that. the mini comic was reenactment of how particular my partner was about setting up terrain for tabletop games. She'd bend over and circle around the table, inspecting it from all possible angles. XP

Pretty sure this doodle was made after I saw how much fun everyone was having with em. This project actually made it pretty far before I forgot about it lol. Still really proud of this one. Man, I was barely keeping the lid on the whole trans thing, wasn't I? I remember how much it was killing me to keep the lid on that part of myself. I think this was the first piece of art that came from those emotions that I actually finished. Had a lot of fun going back through my file for this one. Experimented with a lot of fun shapes and tried out a completely different workflow for my lineart.

One finished headshot and two sketches of my old hyena fursona, Kick. 2019 the year before I came out as trans, so I was experimenting pretty heavily with her design. When i first came up with the character, I wanted to pick an animal that I could channel my phantom limb/gender dysphoria into. So... if noone's ever told you before, here's a fun fact: female hyenas have a pseudo-penis! Additional fun fact: she's the namesake of my main blog, im-kickn-it!

July 1, 2019 Designed a tiger with limited color pallet that I'd intended to make into a partial fursuit. Glad i never sourced the correct fabric colors for this project because YIKES those patterns are intricate. Think I may have posted this one on Twitter at some point? maybe? dunno.

May23, 2019 Some old sketches from the opening area of my homebrew D&D campaign. I needed some brief visuals to remind me which section of notes I needed to pull up for each area. The theme for the opener was 'shattered expectations'. The noble family's daughter was a lot less... dainty than her parents expected. When she snuck away to explore the wooded swamps surrounding her home, she discovered a sickly mother and a single dragon's egg. The mother gave up the babe to this tenacious child, knowing she'd never live to see it hatch. The girl took her job very seriously, defending the egg from adults, eventually managing to hatch and raised it. The two grew up side by side as siblings. My players discovered fragments of a long, sad story piece by piece. When they arrive, all that remains is a demolished port, poisoned swamp, and a scaley big brother doing his best to protect whats left of his home. Everyone around the table manages to get pretty attached to the lonely fellow! Let me know if anyone out there is interested in hearing about the rest of the story! ^^
