đ§ đ§ââď¸ Why kids need yoga as much as adults do đ§ââď¸đ§  - Part 2 - 5. Focus. Focus. Focus. We live in a world of distractions. More and more these days, kids seem unable to focus on anything for any decent length of time. Yoga can help with that. It teaches kids to be present, and to concentrate and focus on their breathing. 6. Yoga teaches calming techniques. Young kids deal with frustration most typically by crying and throwing tantrums. When they learn proper, healthy breathing techniques and tools to focus the mind, they begin to learn how to apply those tools in their everyday lives and to react appropriately to any situation. 7. Children learn self-awareness through yoga. Again, in guiding their bodies through the poses, children learn more about their bodies and what they are capable of. They learn more about their minds, and how they can affect not only their own attitudes and approaches to life, but also the attitudes of others. They learn that they can achieve this through their own thoughts and how they choose to react to any given situation. This awareness of the body, mind and spirit, and of what can be achieved when all three work together, helps children develop into more confident, kind, responsible adults. 8. Yoga supports positive mental health in children. All of the above benefits tie together. When children learn to accept and love themselves for who they are, to see the good in others, to focus and calm their minds, and to be aware of their innate capabilities, they learn tools for resilience. They are more likely to be positive and optimistic about life and their abilities and will hopefully be less likely to succumb to anxiety, depression and other mental health issues that are so prevalent today. #amigreatplace #academymi #abilities #brainfit #braindusseldorf #brainfitkids #education #educationisthekey #yoga #yogaforkids #discipline #selfcontrol #wellbeing #psychology #intelligences #multipleintelligences #spirit #mindandbody #keytohappiness #balanceisthekey #balance #health #healthyhabits #habits #kids #children #sport (at DĂźsseldorf, Germany) https://www.instagram.com/p/B08j6LTnylV/?igshid=1hh1ziz6yplq5

đ§ đ§ââď¸ Why Kids Need Yoga as Much as Adults Do đ§ââď¸đ§  - Part 1 - Yoga has become quite mainstream for adults in recent years, but have you ever considered sharing the practice with your children? Yoga can benefit kids significantly, and in some ways, possibly even more so than it nourishes adults. Here are some of these benefits:  1. Yoga is non-competitive. In todayâs world, we hear so much about being the best and achieving the most. Yoga teaches kids that their bodies are different; different bodies do different things and all of them are okay. There is no one better or worse at yoga than anyone else; we are all just exploring our bodies and learning from them in our own way. Yoga is truly for every body. 2. Yoga teaches self-acceptance. In the same way that it provides children an opportunity to learn something that is non-competitive, it also teaches kids to accept and cherish themselves as they are. Again, with society sending so many messages of inadequacy, yoga teaches kids to love themselves. Learned young, this incredibly valuable lesson arms kids with the tools to fight off the increasing feelings of self-doubt that come during the teen years and beyond. 3. Yoga teaches acceptance and tolerance of others. Yoga teaches acceptance and tolerance of others. In practicing yoga, kids learn early in life that all living beings are to be cherished and respected as they are, thus helping to create more peaceful local communities and a more peaceful world in our future. 4. Yoga encourages healthy habits. Any exercise program begun in childhood helps kids to remain physically active and healthy as a lifestyle. However, yoga takes that further by teaching not only the healthy habits mentioned above, but also a healthy approach to eating and the ability to calm oneself and focus the mind. #amigreatplace #academymi #abilities #brainfit #braindusseldorf #brainfitkids #education #educationisthekey #yoga #yogaforkids #discipline #selfcontrol #wellbeing #psychology #intelligences #multipleintelligences (at DĂźsseldorf, Germany) https://www.instagram.com/p/B062BDLnLWm/?igshid=fjlxwhwkgqfy

How long does it take to learn German?  - A marathon, not a sprint - Every day I hear the same question from my potentially-new students: How long does it take to learn German? Learning German is like running a marathon. The hard truths are that you must invest the time, the work and the effort. There is no other way. If you think that you could just pick up the language effortlessly or learn it in three weeks, you will be disappointed. Whether youâre new to learning German or you have some experience from some time ago, learning German will take commitment, time investment and regular practice. However, like running a marathon, it can be tremendously rewarding, and an achievement to be proud of, that brings lots of quality into your life. German language is stuffed full of grammar when you first begin. As much as you might resist, the language will probably turn you into a grammar geek. The concepts are not complicated, however using them at the speed of speech â is challenging. It requires practice: repeating phrases to yourself, singing in the shower, inventing miniature stories on the way to work. Youâll start to internalize the rules, and suddenly semi-automated sentences will pop out of your mouth. If you are looking for effective ways of changing your life for the better, join one-on-one German classes with individually designed programme as well as tailored methodical stuff and guidance of how to learn and what to focus on, considering your goals, time frames, your skills and abilities. One-on-one lessons are recommended for those who have a very busy schedules and therefore prefer flexible individual German lessons. This is also ideal for those, who have special needs in specific tasks like preparation for an interview, exams or presentations. #education #educationisthekey #key #success #academy #academymi #guidance #amiguidance #amishape #amigreatplace #amibrain #german #learngerman #educationquality #intelligence #intelligences #skills #abilities #bebrainfit #brainfitpeople #brainfit #dusseldorf #dĂźsseldorf #germanclass #lessons (at DĂźsseldorf, Germany) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bs5TMWDl_aX/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1eik5uz8y21tx

đ§ đĄWhat is Montessori Method of Education?đĄđ§ And How Montessori Education Style Contributes To The Independent Thinking and Success In Life?
Montessori method of education is child-centered educational approach based on scientific observations of children from birth to adulthood. The Montessori method views the child as one who is naturally eager for knowledge and capable of initiating learning in a supportive, thoughtfully prepared learning environment. It attempts to develop children physically, socially, emotionally and cognitively.  Montessori is a method of education that is based on self-directed activity, hands-on learning and collaborative play. In Montessori classrooms children make creative choices in their learning, while the classroom and the teacher offer age-appropriate activities to guide the process. Children work in groups and individually to discover and explore their different intelligences and to develop their maximum potential.  Academy of Multiple Intelligence views Montessori education style as an aid and great preparation for life. We believe that every child is capable of achieving their full potential, when provided with the right environment, materials and guidance. Read more about Academy of Multiple Intelligence and Montessori style classes: http://amultipleintelligences.com/   Famous people, who have enjoyed Montessori education: Larry Page and Sergey Brin â founders of Google Jeff Bezos â founder of Amazon.com Prince William and Prince Harry Gabriel Garcia Marquez â Nobel Prize winner for literature Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis â former first lady (John F. đ§ đWhat Is Marshmallow Test?đ𧠠Beside many known tests one of the most famous pieces of social-science research is the marshmallow test. How does it work?  Put a marshmallow in front of a child in the age of 4-6 years old, tell your child that she/he can have a second one if she/he can wait 15 minutes without eating the first one, and then leave the room. Whether she/he is patient enough to double her/his payout is supposedly indicative of a willpower that will pay dividends down the line, at school and eventually at work. Passing the test is a promising signal of future success. A huge part of growing up is learning how to delay gratification, that predicts future achievements and success in life.  Check this video by Michio Kaku / Goalcast https://youtu.be/47DmUM7MW7s  #gratification #willpower #keytosuccess #patience #selfcontrol #future #time #reimaginetomorrow #goalcast #education #educationisthekey #key #success #academy #academymi #guidance #amiguidance #amishape #amigreatplace #amibrain #sociallearning #emotionallearning #educationquality #intelligence #intelligences #earlylearning #startearly #skills #abilities #bebrainfit #brainfitpeople #brainfitkids #brainfit #dusseldorf #dĂźsseldorf #powerofmusic #braindusseldorf  (at DĂźsseldorf, Germany) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bpf45whH_Gu/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1hy8yhg6m98kq

đľWhy Musicians Have Healthier Brains?đ§ If you want evidence of how music affects the brain, it makes sense to look at the brains of those who play a lot of music â professional musicians. Brain scans show that their brains are different than those of non-musicians.  Guess, who is on the cover picture? Yes, indeed! An incredible person and unique musical experience - @raphael_loopro! Raphael sings in 21 different languages â isnât crazy!? His performances are combined with the ability to play several different instruments all brought together through a loop station. Raphael creates a world of music all on his own. Imagine a whole band brought together in one man â thatâs Raphael! Check his awesome performances here: https://www.instagram.com/Raphael_loopro/ https://www.youtube.com/user/RaphaelMonsanto https://soundcloud.com/Raphaelloopro https://www.facebook.com/RaphaelLoopro/ https://www.raphaelloopro.com/  I never met another similar person like Raphael, did you? Is it even possible? Yes, it is! Since musicians have bigger, better connected, more sensitive brains. Musicians have superior working memory, auditory skills, and cognitive flexibility. Their brains are noticeably more symmetrical and they respond more symmetrically when listening to music. Areas of the brain responsible for motor control, auditory processing, and spatial coordination are larger. Musicians also have a larger corpus collosum. This is the band of nerve fibers that transfers information between the two hemispheres of the brain. This increase in size indicates that the two sides of musiciansâ brain are better at communicating with each other.  Tag a person who plays a music instrument or sings and comment if you as the ones whoâs musical intelligence is developed and what impact does it have on your daily life? #loopro #education #educationisthekey #key #success#academy #academymi #guidance #amiguidance#amishape #amigreatplace #amibrain #sociallearning#emotionallearning #educationquality #intelligence#intelligences #earlylearning #startearly #skills#abilities #bebrainfit #brainfitpeople #brainfitkids #brainfit #dusseldorf #dĂźsseldorf #musicalintelligence #musicpower (at DĂźsseldorf, Germany) https://www.instagram.com/p/BpT9QvUnYOY/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=70o09b7k6dn7

đľđ§ MUSICAL INTELLIGENCE đ§ đľ Music improves brain health and function in many ways. It makes you smarter, happier and more productive at any age. Listening is good, however playing is even better.  In todayâs technology world advances in neuroscience enable researchers to quantitatively measure how music affects the brain. The interest in the effects of music on the brain has led to a new branch of research called neuromusicology which explores how the nervous system reacts to music. Studies indicate that music activates every known part of the brain. It stimulates complex cognitive, affective, and sensorimotor processes in the brain. Listening to and playing music can make you smarter, happier, healthier and more productive at all stages of life. Tag a person who plays a music instrument, sings or is a big music fan! #education #educationisthekey #key #success #academy #academymi #guidance #amiguidance #amishape #amigreatplace #amibrain #sociallearning #emotionallearning #educationquality #intelligence #intelligences #earlylearning #startearly #skills #abilities #bebrainfit #brainfitpeople #brainfitkids #brainfit #dusseldorf #dĂźsseldorf #duesseldorf #braindusseldorf #musicalintelligence #music #powerofmusic #musicpower (at DĂźsseldorf, Germany) https://www.instagram.com/p/BpPNk5wHIbH/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1v16ox3ffi48c

đ§ đ§ đ§ What intelligences are your most developed ones? đ§ đ§ 𧠠According to the Theory of Multiple Intelligences, developed by Howard Gardner, Ph.D., Professor of Education at Harvard University, people have a unique blend of intelligences (capabilities and skills). More importantly is to remember that we all possess ALL intelligences, however in varying amounts.  Multiple Intelligences: 1. Verbal-linguistic intelligence: well-developed verbal skills and sensitivity to the sounds, meanings and rhythms of words. 2. Logical-mathematical intelligence: ability to think conceptually and abstractly, and capacity to discern logical and numerical patterns. 3. Spatial-visual intelligence: capacity to think in images and pictures, to visualize accurately and abstractly. 4. Bodily-kinesthetic intelligence: ability to control oneâs body movements and to handle objects skillfully. 5. Musical intelligences: ability to produce and appreciate rhythm, pitch and timber. 6. Interpersonal intelligence: capacity to detect and respond appropriately to the moods, motivations and desires of others. 7. Intrapersonal: capacity to be self-aware and in tune with inner feelings, values, beliefs and thinking processes. 8. Naturalistic intelligence: ability to recognize and categorize plants, animals and other objects in nature. #education #educationisthekey #key #success #academy #academymi #guidance #amiguidance #amishape #amigreatplace #amibrain #sociallearning #emotionallearning #educationquality #intelligence #intelligences #earlylearning #startearly #skills #abilities #bebrainfit #brainfitpeople #brainfitkids #brainfit #dusseldorf #dĂźsseldorf #duesseldorf #multipleintelligence (at DĂźsseldorf, Germany) https://www.instagram.com/p/BpNBFXxnx0l/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1rcw85qoio2op

đ§ đ§ đ§ Our BRAIN is the most complex manifestation of our INTELLIGENCE! đ§ đ§ đ§ Here are some incredible numerical facts about the human brain. 1. The typical brain comprises about 2% of the bodyâs total weight but uses 20% of its total energy and oxygen intake. 2. Your brain is 73% water. It takes only 2% dehydration to affect your attention, memory and other cognitive skills. 3. Ninety minutes of sweating can temporarily shrink the brain as much as one year of aging does. 4. Your brain weighs about 1.400 grams. 60% of the dry weight is fat, making the brain the fattiest organ in the body. 5. 25% of the bodyâs cholesterol resides within the brain. Cholesterol is an integral part of every brain cell. Without adequate cholesterol, brain cells die. 6. The latest estimate is that our brains contain roughly 86 billion brain cells. 7. Each neuron can transmit 1,000 nerve impulses per second and make as many as tens of thousands of synaptic contacts with other neurons. 8. A piece of brain tissue the size of a grain of sand contains 100,000 neurons and 1 billion synapses, all communicating with each other. 9. All brain cells are not alike. There are as many as 10,000 specific types of neurons in the brain. 10. Your brain needs a constant supply of oxygen. As little as 5 minutes without oxygen can cause some brain cells to die, leading to severe brain damage. #education #educationisthekey #key #success #academy #academymi #guidance #amiguidance #amishape #amigreatplace #amibrain #sociallerning #emotionallearning #educationquality #intelligence #intelligences #earlylearning #startearly #skills #abilities #bebrainfit #brainfitpeople #brainfitkids #brainfit #dusseldorf #dĂźsseldorf (at DĂźsseldorf, Germany) https://www.instagram.com/p/BoynHmEHOkl/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1evs7zkg2br9w
