Hello! I’m Emily, an artist who loves all things surreal, metaphysical, and absurd. My favorite mediums are collage, embroidery, and zines, but I like to dabble in many different things. I’m inspired by marble statues, surrealism, metaphysics, Giorgio di Chirico, absurdism, mannequins, goddess symbolism, Remedios Varos, mathematics, Rene Magritte, Roman ruins, Hilma af Klint, science fiction, nature, philosophy and more. A lot of my art deals with a focus on the goddess figure and how it relates to my own experiences with chronic pain and endometriosis. Art is one thing that keeps me going when times are tough! 💛
