They gave him wings. Charles who has been associated with religious imagery countless of times. The saints painted in warm light and with dainty features, the ones he looks so similar to when the sun hits him just right on the podium.
They gave him wings like Icarus, that carry him up into the sky and close to the sun. To the sun he is named after, the Sun of Maranello. The one that will bring the light and victories, the son they raised in Maranello.
They gave him wings, the boy that drives cars so close to the ground you don't see a gap between him and the earth. Who droves so fast he gets pushed towards the earth, rather than away from it but they gave him wings nonetheless.
They gave him wings and made him look mythical and out of this world, because he is Il Predestinato, their predestined one. The one to bring glory back to his team, the one he has dreamed of his whole life.
